• Adored by the Network: The show as one of YTV's flagship series during its time on air, with the character featuring heavily in the channels' promotional material (most notably in a crossover with Being Ian for a Canada Day marathon) and the show being given plenty of attention from the channel. In fact, reruns of the show continued to be shown years after it ended.
• Colbert Bump: TheCartoonGamer8000's two-part 2019 video on nostalgic Canadian animation gave this series a minor one, as he goes into significant detail about the series and its most notable points.
• Cowboy Be Bop At His Computer: IMDB for what ever reason lists this series as having come out in 1999 instead of 2000.
• Crossdressing Voices: Tommy is voiced by a girl in the Russian dub.
• Descended Creator: Series creator Ian James Corlett voices King Louis and Willie the government official, while co-creator Terry Klassen voices The Duke.
• International Coproduction: Between Studio B Productions in Vancouver, Dong Woo Animation in South Korea, and Hong Ying in China.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Only the first season has ever been fully released on home media in English, with episodes from season 2 and 3 being very hard to find. While season 2 was released fully released on DVD in Russia, season 3 is almost impossible to find any episodes from, even in other languages, with very little of it being available.
• No Export for You: The series has never aired in the United States.
