- Billing Displacement: The American DVD release has Bob Hoskins and Linda Gray listed with the stars on the front cover despite playing incredibly minor roles. While Hoskins had a successful career after the film, Gray seems to have only been included possibly for being mistaken for the actress of the same name who played Sue Ellen Ewing in Dallas.
- Blooper:
- The amount of mud the motorbike sprays on Lurk lessens between shots.
- The mud splattered on the sign at Monique's is more widespread between shots.
- Completely Different Title:
- Germany: Operation "Naked Butt".
- Portugal: Forward is the Way.
- Fake Nationality:
- Hungarian Zsa Zsa Gabor as the Dutch Mata Hari.
- Lance Percival, Peter Bull, Gertan Klauber, Stanley Lebor, Vernon Dobtcheff, and Patricia Quinn play Germans.
- Hermione Baddeley and Robert Gillespie both play French.
- Hostility on the Set: Producer Ned Sherrin had an uneven relationship with Frankie Howerd; when Howerd returned from Elizabeth Taylor's legendary 40th birthday party in Budapest, Sherrin had no sympathy for his hangover and sent him straight back to work.
