  • Adored by the Network: Was this for most of its run due to being very cheap to produce and attracting decent viewership. During its peak, its ratings have even beaten out The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on occasion. It also has a massive fanbase with people aged 18-34, a very highly sought after advertising demographic.
  • Dueling Shows: With G4's Web Soup, as well as MTV's Ridiculousness.
  • Life Imitates Art: In episode 10, after that episode's web redemption, Daniel did a montage of clips of people he would like to have come on the show for a web redemption (under the assumption that none of them would), including the reporter from Boom Goes The Dynamite, A news reporter who swallowed a bug, and David of David After Dentist fame. David came on for a web redemption in the season 2 opener, while the reporters came on in Season 3.
  • Screwed by the Network: The show became this later in its run, especially from 2018 to 2019, where Comedy Central seldom broadcast the show outside of premiers, with sporadic reruns every once in a while. To keep in perspective, The Cleveland Show, which was long cancelled by Fox after four seasons, has more reruns on the network. To make matters worse, Comedy Central reversed a four season renewal and cancelled the show to focus more on adult animation, topical series and comedic Made-for-TV films.
