• What Could Have Been:
  • The developer has said that they briefly toyed with the idea of making Xopi a playable character. They would have been a Joke Character with terrible stats and permanent blindness.
    • ...And as of version 1.32, this comes true! Well, sort of. Dehl becomes a playable character, with his gimmick being an Escort Mission with Xopi.
  • The developer also raised the idea of alternate means of identifying items in one blog post, including giving an actual Fingertip Drug Analysis option. Unfortunately, they were too difficult to implement.

For the film

• Fake Nationality: British Tom Hardy plays a native New Yorker.
• Recursive Adaptation: The film is based on the short story 'Animal Rescue', and was later adapted into a novel.
