- Completely Different Title: In Japan, It's the Wolf became Ramji-chan, giving Lambsy top billing due to Japan's love of cute characters. Meanwhile, Motormouse and Autocat became Nigeroya nigero dai rēsu (Run Away and Run Away Big Race).
- Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Some sources claim that this show is live-action/animated just like The Banana Splits, with the Cats as mascot suit characters, but it was 100% animated.
- Follow the Leader: This show was made to duplicate the success of Banana Splits; an hourlong variety show with cartoons and songs performed by a Funny Animal band.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes:
- Aside from three shorts appearing on a Hanna-Barbera compilation DVD, none of the episodes have seen an official home release of any kind. While it did reran on Boomerang in the US every once in a while, good luck trying to find it elsewhere.
- Doubly so for the records released in 1969; They only had one print, and if you weren't around then to grab one, your only hope is paying high prices when a copy hits the auction sites.
- No Export for You: Out of the four segments, Cattanooga Cats and Around the World in 79 Days never aired in Japan.
- Similarly Named Works: Both It's The Wolf and The Owl House feature an episode titled "Any Sport In A Storm".
- Uncredited Role: Paul Lynde as Mildew Wolf in the "It's The Wolf!" segment.
- What Could Have Been:
- The Cats went through numerous designs before settling on what made it to air. Unfortunately, nobody told the ad department; every ad they ran featured an older set of designs◊ that don't even remotely resemble what actually aired.
- Hanna-Barbera had plans to revive The Cattanooga Cats and The Hair Bear Bunch as revolving features of the second season of 2 Stupid Dogs. The plans were eventually scrapped.
