• Ascended Meme: It didn't take long for Ryōta Ōsaka's infamous "I'm going to graduate from my parents! And enter to you!" line from the Hosekigaoka Broadcasting Club Big Update livestream to be implemented in-game as a possible line that can appear in regular improv stages.
• All-Star Cast: Being a coly game, there's no surprise that a number of well-known voice actors were picked to be part of the cast.
• Follow the Leader:
  • On the receiving end, On Air gameplay wise plays out very similarly to Ensemble Stars!, especially prior to the Stars!! Updated Re-release.
  • On the giving end, On Air gained a Distaff Counterpart in CUE!! by Liber Entertainment , who is also responsible for I-Chu and A3. Unlike the high-school setting of On Air, CUE!! has the player as a manager in a voice-acting agency. The game was released on 25 October 2019, but ended up going on hiatus in 30 April 2021 in order to work on improvements.
  • Another voice-acting game is BATON=RELAY which is developed by both i-tron and Pokelabo, the latter being the main developer of SINoALICE and Senki Zesshou Symphogear: XDU. Like CUE!!, BATON=RELAY focuses on an all-female cast. Unfortunately it didn't last long enough, having been around for about 4 months before service termination.
• No Export for You: Despite being region-free, the game is only available in Japanese with no localization planned.
• The Other Darrin: In January 2020, coly announced that Nanao's voice actor, Mark Ishii, would go on hiatus due to health problems and following that they'll decide what to do with his role from that point on. As of June 26, 2020, coly announced that Gakuto Kajiwara will be the new voice for Nanao starting from mid-July.
• Troubled Production: While it's normal for log-in stories to be partially voiced, events starting from the Switch! The Infinite Mirrors of Conflict event will not be fully voiced until further notice due to working complications as a result of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic. Eventually the events were fully voiced starting from the Gather! Tears and Proud Heroes Unit X Unit event with drop and Prid's, although it will take some time for Nanao's voice to be fully implemented due to a change in his voice actor.
• What Could Have Been: The 3rd Anniversary Store had an mini-exhibition where the 2020 birthday cards of every character were displayed, including incomplete illustrations of those whose birthdays were after the 2nd Anniversary event. On that topic, certain cards had images that would have served as hints to future event themes, such as the cat ears on Rei's card that referred to the then-unreleased Gather! Tears and Proud Heroes event.
