The Video Game
- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": English speakers probably first met Miki and Kentarou when they first played Sengoku Rance. Otherwise, they first met Miki when they played Rance I.
The Western Animation
- Banned Episode: A semi-example. The episode I Want to be a Baby is for some reason never available on DVD, even on the so-called complete series boxsets. This is weird as the episode is available over Channel 5's On Demand site (which is of no help to those living outside of the UK).
- Recursive Adaptation: The TV series is based on books by Tony Ross. It spawned more books that's based on the show.
- Screwed by the Network: As per usual for any show airing on NTV7 Malaysia, Season 3 was screwed by said channel and has never aired in the country.
