- Actor Allusion: In Episode 4, Dejiko says that Amaenbou reminds her of Abarenbou. In the original Japanese dub, both characters are voiced by Yuji Ueda.
- DVD Commentary: As with Synch-Point's DVD release of the original series, the two DVDs for this series both feature commentary tracks by Koge-Donbo*.
- Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": Due to the original specials not being released until 2013, this series was introduction of Rik, Ky, and Coo in North America.
- Multiple Languages, Same Voice Actor: Miyuki Sawashiro reprises her role as Puchiko in the English Dub making it the first time that a Japanese VA reprised their role in a dub of their series.
- The Other Darrin: A rather odd example of this trope. Miyuki Sawashiro was unavailable to record the last two episodes of the series so Karen Strassman filled in, who voiced Puchiko in the English dub of the original series.
- Real-Life Relative: In the English Dub, Dejiko and Rik are played by the married couple of Jessica Gee-George and Grant George.
- Role Reprise: In a rarity for the franchise, the English VAs for Dejiko, Rabi~en~Rose, Gema, and Puchiko from the original series reprise their roles in this series, although only for the last two episodes in the case of Puchiko. This is because this series and the original series were both dubbed by Synch-Point.
- What Could Have Been: An English trailer for the series, as well as the never produced dub for Di Gi Charat: A Trip to the Planet, has Stephanie Sheh, who also plays Gema, voicing Dejiko rather than Jessica Gee-George.
- Written by Cast Member: Stephanie Sheh adapted the script for the English dub of the TV series in addition to voicing Gema note .
