- Directed by Cast Member: Amanda Winn-Lee is the voice director for both W (which she co-directed with Matt Greenfield) and Excess and voices Rio in both.
- International Coproduction: W and Excess with ADV and Scramble with both the Japanese and American divisions of Geneon Entertainment.
- Real-Life Relative: In the English dubs of W and Excess, Rio and Yuji are voiced by Amanda Winn-Lee and her husband Jaxon Lee.
- The Other Darrin: Excess, this mostly applies to the dub, the Japanese version only had one cast change:
- In the English dub's case, there had been a 6 year gap between the W and Excess dubs and Amanda Winn Lee (Rio), Jaxon Lee (Yuji) and Kimberly Yates (Lilika) had all left Texas for LA by this point and rather than the dub being recorded at ADV's own studio in Texas, they outsourced the dub to PCB Productions, as a result of this, everyone besides Rio, Yuji and Lilika was recast which is partially justified since some of 'em had left the biz by that point and the only person in Excess's dub cast who was a regular at ADV was Allison Keith who previously voiced Maria in W and took over for Nanvel in Excess.
- In Japanese however, the main cast stayed the same with the only exception being Maki who went from being voiced by Yumiko Shibata to Mami Kingetsu (who also sang Excess's opening), if anything the only significant change was for the production staff.
- Studio Hop: The Japanese distribution rights to Scramble are currently owned by NBCUniversal due to their buyout of Geneon Entertainment in 2008.
