Cash-Cow Franchise: Slowly becoming this for Manga Time Kirara, as this is their biggest hit since Laid-Back Camp. Following a streak of underperformers in-between both, it doesn't hurt to say they are happy to have another one.
Cross-Cast Role: Miki Sawada portrays the only male character, Naoki Gotoh (Bocchi's father), in the live action stage adaptation.
Demand Overload: The popularity of the anime caused the manga to sell out in bookstores, encouraging Houbunsha to publish three reprints of the manga.
Late Export for You: The manga began serialization in 2017, but wasn't released in the Anglosphere at all until Yen Press announced that they would publish it in fall 2023, likely spurred by the anime's success.
No Dub for You: For reasons unknown, the English blu-ray release for the anime does not come with an English dub.
Throw It In!: When her bandmates suggest that she open an "Isstagram" account, Bocchi is so distressed by the idea of doing so that she responds by "glitching out" while screaming. The voice director's plan was to distort the screaming in post to sound like an audio corruption, but Yoshino Aoyama was able to get the intended effect entirely on her own, with this take being used in the final episode.
Tourist Bump: Shimokitazawa, especially the SHELTER live house that STARRY was based on, received an increasing number of visitors making pilgrimages to the locations within the series. However, rowdy behavior from fans caused the official Bocchi website to issue a reminder for fans to behave themselves.
