Being an anime about a high school band, Bocchi the Rock! has its fair share of Awesome Music.
- The opening, "Seisyun Complex", shows through its lyrics that the anime is about the socially anxious protagonist Bocchi growing as a person.
- From episode 8, "That Band", with Bocchi taking charge and demonstrating her ability as the Guitar Hero with an awesome guitar riff that sets the pace throughout the ensuing song.
- An additional detail is that at the start of the anime version of "That Band," Bocchi is positioned far out on right channel, while everyone else is occuping the center-left channel. By the time Bocchi hits the end solo, she has moved closer to the rest of the band, both emotionally and in the mix of the song.
- "Never Forget" is a Lighter and Softer take on Bocchi's character, with the lyrics saying Bocchi will still cherish the memories she has, despite not liking the 'typical' high school experiences.
- "If I Could be a Constellation" is the climax of the anime's school cultural festival episode. Bocchi, who discovers her guitar has broken and is out of tune, salvages her guitar solo by improvising with a bottle of sake.
- "Rock'n Roll, Morning Light Falls On You", the fourth ED theme, sees Bocchi finally having the confidence to sing, and also represents Bocchi looking back on her growth as a person. It's also a cover of a song by Asian Kung-Fu Generation (whose members' last names and instruments played line up perfectly with Kessoku Band), and was personally picked by Aki Hamaji for the series as something that fits Bocchi herself.
