Pre-series

  • 70 million years ago: An unspecified theropod infant, later named Gon, is transported from this time to the year 1988 by Time Brain, acting on the orders of Doctor Obular. (Ep. 6)
  • 1966: Yuusuke Amamiya/Red Falcon is born.
  • 1968: Joh Oohara/Yellow Lion is born
  • 1969: Megumi Misaki/Blue Dolphin is born.
  • 1984: A new class arrives at Academia, including eight students of note: Yusuke Amamiya, Joh Oohara, Megumi Misaki, Kenji Tsukigata, Rui Senda, Goh Omura, Takuji Yano and Mari Aikawa. Joh discovers Goh's possible good heart when he attempts to save a drowning puppy while nearly drowning himself and takes a picture to confirm their friendship, while Yuusuke and Kenji make a promise to see each other in four years time to check on progress. Yuusuke briefly has a crush on Rui at the start of the term and writes love letters to her, but never delivers them and keeps them hidden away. (Ep. 3, 16, 35, 41)
  • 1986: Kenji, Rui, and Goh were all contacted by Great Professor Bias of the Armed Brain Army Volt and selected to become his students to achieve their full potential beyond human capability. Driven mad by the prospect of greatness, Kenji attempts to murder his friends, but Takuji Yano and Mari Aikawa jump in the way to protect them with new space suits they developed; which isn't enough to prevent their murder. As Yuusuke Amamiya, Joh Ohara and Megumi Misaki mourn their sacrifice, Kenji, Rui and Goh board a spacecraft sent by Bias to take them to his Brain Base in space. (Ep. 1)

Series

  • Volt sends Kenji, Rui, and Goh, now known as Doctors Kemp, Mazenda, and Obular, to Earth and begin their attacks on the Academia Island. In the middle of this tragic attack, Yuusuke, Joh, and Megumi, became the Livemen as they begins to stand up against Volt's terrorism. (Ep. 1)
  • After Hoshi's death and their school's destruction, the Livemen take up residence in the underwater base Gran Tortoise that is maintained by their robot assistant Colon. The Livemen defeat Disconnect Zuno. (Ep. 2)
  • By the time they encounter their former friends turned enemies, Kenji altered his genetic makeup and goes by the name of Doctor Kemp while Rui enhanced herself wit cybernetics and is now called Doctor Mazenda. Only Goh remained unchanged until he mutated himself into the monsterous Doctor Obular to purge his faults. The Livemen defeat Virus Zuno. (Ep. 3)
  • The Livemen defeat Transmission Zuno. (Ep. 4)

  • The three Volt scientists are joined by Arashi Busujima, a self-proclaimed idiot gang leader whose interference forces Bias to add him to Volt's ranks as the more intelligent Doctor Ashura. The Livemen defeat Baboon Zuno. (Ep. 11)
  • The Livemen defeat Test Zuno. (Ep. 12)
  • The Livemen defeat Poison Gas Zuno. (Ep. 13)

  • In an attempt to make a Zuno similar to himself, Obular's own weakness is exposed as he transforms back into Gou. However, the intervention of Guildian Guildos, an alien ally of Bias, changes Gou back into Obular before the Liveman can learn further. The Livemen defeat Study Zuno. (Ep. 19)
  • With the continued failure and fluctuations of his form, Doctor Obular is kicked out of Volt. Using research from his personal lab, Gou attempts to further develop his Obular persona to stay in Volt. The Livemen defeat Regeneration Zuno. (Ep. 20)
  • The combined effort of Liveman and Gou's mother finally breaks him free from his desires at the cost of his memories. The Livemen defeat Obular Zuno. (Ep. 21)
  • Chibuchian Butchy, another alien ally of Bias, arrives to assists Volt. The Livemen defeat Guitar Zuno. (Ep. 22)
  • Professor Bias begins a competition among his five minions for the creation of artifacts for his "Giga Project". Doctor Kemp completes his first: an indestructible "Giga Metal" tested with a swordsman Zuno. The Livemen defeat Sword Zuno. (Ep. 23)
  • The Livemen defeat Pig Zuno. (Ep. 24)
  • The Livemen defeat Spirit Zuno. (Ep. 25)
  • Doctor Mazenda completes another component of the Giga Project: a "Giga Energy" source for running the project. The Livemen defeat Light Zuno. (Ep. 26)
  • With all pieces of the Giga Project together, Professor Bias builds and activates it while deceiving the Liveman of it's location. The Livemen defeat Earthquake Zuno. (Ep. 27)
  • The Giga Volt, the final result of Bias' Giga Project, is activated; with Doctor Kemp piloting, it easily defeats and captures Live Robo. Tetsuya Yano and Jun'ichi Aikawa, siblings of the Liveman's deceased friends, emerge with their siblings weaponry in a futile attempt to stop Volt themselves. Using their vehicles, which combine into the mech Live Boxer, they reclaim Live Robo.(Ep. 28 - 29)
  • Discovering further information on Takuji and Mari's research, the Liveman have Tetsuya and Jun'ichi join them as their two new members. Using the data to merge Live Robo and Live Boxer into Super Live Robo, the five-member Liveman defeat Giga Volt. (Ep. 30)
  • The Livemen defeat Vega Zuno. (Ep. 31)
  • Kemp begins research to improve on his transformed form. The Livemen defeat Gore Zuno. (Ep. 32)
  • The Livemen defeat Robo Zuno. (Ep. 33)

  • Mazenda furthers her upgrades, becoming nearly completely machine for combat. The Livemen defeat Wolf Zuno. (Ep. 38)
  • The Livemen defeat Meteor Zuno. (Ep. 39)

  • An encounter with Gou restores his memories, which includes the revelation of Professor Bias being a former human using the brains of geniuses to keep himself young and powerful. The Livemen defeat Invisible Zuno. (Ep. 41)
  • The Livemen defeat Bomber Zuno. (Ep. 42)
  • In a final attempt to stop the Liveman, Guildos is revealed to be not an alien but a robot; he malfunctions and explodes without understanding what he really is. The Livemen defeat Guildo Zuno. (Ep. 43)
  • After finding out he too is a robot, Butchy discovers from Bias that he and Guildos were built to improve the progress rate of his other geniuses. In a final rampage where he gains the friendship of Megumi, Butchy is destroyed by Bias for his betrayal. The Livemen defeat Reckless Zuno. (Ep. 44)
  • During a final push to improve himself to Bias, Ashura hacks into Bias' Brain Room; Bias punishes him by changing him back into the idiot Arashi. The Livemen defeat Hacker Zuno. (Ep. 45)
  • Arashi sacrifices himself to take out a Brain Beast and proves to Bias the power of courage and guts over genius and science. The Livemen defeat Battle Zuno. (Ep. 46)
  • Mazenda becomes the first to gain a thousand-point brain; but changes herself completely into a robot to prevent Bias from gaining it after Gou proves Bias' true nature. Mazenda dies regretting her lost humanity. The Livemen defeat Nightmare Zuno. (Ep. 47)
  • Doctor Kemp achieves a thousand-point brain and willingly sacrifices it to Bias while changing his body into a Brain Beast. With twelve thousand-point brains, Professor Bias activates the Giga Brain Wave to force humanity under him. Yuusuke disconnects Bias from the Giga Brain Wave, freeing the Liveman to take down the Kemp Brain Beast with Colon. Bias uses Dr. Kemp's brain to restore his youth to use it to relive his life and further himself even more. (Ep. 48)
  • After a plea by Megumi directed towards Bias, Kemp and the remaining brain-abducted scientists rebel against their master, turning him back into a decrepit old man. After the Livemen defeat Electron Zuno, Professor Bias dies in the exploding Brain Base, being watched over by Guardinoid Gash to the very end. (Ep. 49)

Post-series

  • 1989: Among the 10 Super Sentai preceeding the Turborangers, the Livemen stand behind them as they confront the Hundred Boma Tribes. (Kousoku Sentai Turboranger ep. 1)
  • 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, the Livemen provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. Yuusuke also joins a Dream Sentai led by Big One. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2003: A temporary gate opens between 2003 and 1988 where a girl from the future encounters Jou Oohara in a destined encounter. (Ep. 34)
  • 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Red Falcon's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2011: The Livemen, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
  • 2012: The Livemen, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
  • 2013: The Livemen participate in the battle against Space Shocker. (Super Hero Taisen Z)
  • 2017: The Livemen, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
  • 2019: The Livemen are embroiled in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle. (Super Sentai Strongest Battle)
  • 2021: The Livemen, among the first 44 Super Sentai, are embroiled in the Zenkaigers' conflict with the Kikaitopia Livesty Tojitendo. (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger)
