Yusuke and Colon on "patrol".
This Sentai may have you rolling your tissues for tears, but sometimes, it's tears of happiness.
  • Episode 5, which sees Yusuke helping Takuji's youngest brother build the car he designed as a memorial to him.
  • In episode 10, Jou volunteers to help a struggling pizza shop whose owner he has a crush on, all while having to put up with her Annoying Younger Sibling. By the end of the episode however, Jou has proved himself to be such a cool guy that the little brother asks him to hook up with his sister and become his Cool Big Bro. Jou politely declines, needing to put his duty as a Liveman first, but wishes the two siblings good luck with their business.
  • After Doctor Obular reads Yusuke's old love letter to Mazenda out loud in episode 15 and mocks him for it, both Jou and Megumi stick up for their leader and encourage him, with Megumi even telling Yusuke she likes him the way he is.
  • The end of episode 18, in which Ashura approaches Mazenda, who is still grieving over having lost her kind side, and returns her necklace to her before leaving without saying a word.
  • Of all villains that they couldn't save, the Livemen succeeded in at least one: Dr. Oblar/Gou. After meeting Gou's mother and realizing how much her Education Mama attitude practically drove him into becoming Dr. Oblar, the Livemen chew her out and tell her that she holds the key to completely redeeming Gou. She did so with gusto, apologizing for Gou and completely restoring him. In the end, maternal love prevailed that day and Gou turned to religion to redeem himself.
  • After a little girl who helped Megumi defeat the Monster of the Week in episode 22 hurts her hand and can't enter a music contest she wanted to, Megumi takes her out to have fun at the beach with her and the other Livemen.
  • Episode 23 starts with Colon asking Yusuke to help him on his patrol, obviously looking for an excuse to go on a date with him, only for Yusuke to turn her down and say it's too dangerous, much to her frustration. At the end of the episode however, it's Yusuke who asks Colon to go on "patrol" with him, leading her to blush before getting on the bike with him and riding off, giving us the page image.
  • When Butchy sees the leaderboard in episode 31 and becomes sad at having the lowest score, it's Guildos of all characters who gives Butchy some words of encouragement, telling him his score is only low because he hasn't had as many tries as the other students, and that he'll increase it soon.
  • Episode 33's whole premise, which is Tetsuya dressing up as a robot to play with a kid he promised he'd build a robot friend for. The episode ends with the Livemen and Tetsuya (dressed as the robot again) playing with the kid, with the Livemen (jokingly) agreeing to give Tetsuya to the kid.
  • In episode 42, Tetsuya is mind-controlled by Bias into planting bombs inside the Gran Tortoise, and shoots Colon when the Livemen find out he's been hypnotized. After the plan is averted and Tetsuya is restored to normal, Tetsuya goes off on his own, blaming himself for injuring Colon and nearly destroying the base. The other Livemen then approach him and tell him its not his fault, and that what happened only proves how evil Volt is.
  • Junichi's whole motive in episode 43, and the reason he keeps fighting Guildo Brain, is to inspire a kid who hurt his leg and can't walk.
  • In episode 44, after noticing Butchy crying during his rampage, Megumi plays a song on her keytar to get his attention and reaches out to him, convincing him to leave the Volt and asking him if he wants to dance with her. Butchy accepts, though the episode quickly turns to being a Tear Jerker when Bias activates Butchy's remote self-destruct. Still, Megumi managed to give Butchy a few genuine moments of happiness before his demise.
  • Arashi's final exchange with Gou in episode 46, in which he thanks him for telling him the answer to 4+8 and says they've both lived a weird life, before going off to do his Heroic Sacrifice. It stands out as one of the most human moments in the series, and while Arashi's super intelligence may be gone, the Character Development he underwent while in Volt stuck.
  • Of all characters, Gash gets a moment of this in the finale, when he tells the now-senile Bias that the explosions in the Zuno Base are fireworks to celebrate his victory, and plays along with him hallucinating hearing people cheer his name, all to let him die happy.
