Trust Nobody.

Sixteen Danganronpa Characters find themselves in a new killing game, where they must deal with a mystery attacker who will kill one of them every round as they work to solve the mysteries in the school. This Side Project from r/DanganRoleplay was notable for featuring its own narrative that mixed the typical Class Trial format with a series of investigation segments.

This game features examples of

  • Anyone Can Die: Players tended to die frequently, without warning, and occasionally more than once.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Mikan turns out to be suffering from her Despair Disease symptoms.
  • Confess to a Lesser Crime: Nekomaru admits to having killed Chihiro in self-defence during a trial, but leaves out the fact that doing so made him the new Attacker and obligated him to start committing murders.
  • Cross Over Ship: Hints of a relationship begin to form between Makoto and Chiaki.
  • Death Is Cheap: Chihiro, Mikan, Nagito, Toko, and Hajime have all returned after seemingly dying.
  • Distressed Dude: Fuyuhiko spends some time as Mikan's prisoner, even missing out on a Trial as a result.
  • Duel to the Death: Gundham fights Nekomaru in one between Trials.
  • Faking the Dead: Chihiro is discovered to have faked his death by pool cube impalement, although his second death proves to be more genuine.
  • Genre Shift: After the third trial, the characters are suddenly thrown into brutal Escape Rooms that kill off a good chunk of the players independent from regular trials.
  • Hate Sink: Hajime, of all people, has become one after his betrayal of Nagito and Sayaka. Toko is nearly as big of one due to her refusal to answer questions and insistence on protecting the former.
  • Lights Out Somebody Dies: Chihiro is seemingly found dead during a sudden blackout.
  • Made of Iron: Hajime manages to survive several gunshot wounds to the chest, requiring only a bit of nursing from Toko before showing back up at the next trial.
  • No Ending: The game was dropped after Nagito's death, with only four survivors remaining (as far as we know), the mastermind unrevealed, and Hajime unpunished for his sins.
  • Sadistic Choice: When the class has decided to lynch Hajime for murdering Sayaka, Genocide Jack took over and threatens to kill them if they do not vote for Fuyuhiko, who was being held captive by Mikan.
  • Senseless Sacrifice: Twogami dies in Ibuki and Sonia's place during his Escape Room segment, only for the two to both be killed shortly after the following trial.
  • Sixth Ranger: Sonia suddenly appeared in the school without warning during the Escape Room segments, in time to get Twogami killed.
  • Surprisingly Sudden Death: Nagito.
  • Take a Third Option: Toko's Sadistic Choice results in her being voted to be lynched, which she'd hoped for due to her discovery of the fact that lynchings only kill some participants. Nagito proceeds to take his own third option as well and guns down Hajime to avenge Sayaka's murder.
  • Took A Level In Bad Ass: Nagito takes a huge one after being gunned down by Hajime and losing an eye. He returns alive, with an eyepatch, a handgun, and a single-minded focus on taking down Hajime, Monokuma, and anyone else who has betrayed the others.
