Possessing overwhelming strength and sporting a wicked smile on his face, Yuri sets his eyes on his next target: Yuya. In order to stop him, Yusho confronts Yuri. A fierce battle between Yusho and Yuri unfolds.
This episode contains the following tropes:
- Batman Gambit: Yusho pulled one on Yuri to return his Super Polymerization to his deck.
- Battle Aura: Yuri has the same black aura Yuya has when awakened.
- Casting a Shadow: Yuri has a dark blast which he attacks Yusho and Reiji with.
- Didn't See That Coming: Reiji using an action card to avoid certain defeat. To be fair, althoough he said quite often that using them was the Lancer's style, he didn't quite use them himself.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: A lot of Yuri's lines about fusing with his counterparts sounds very suggestive.
- The Dreaded: Zarc. Leo was so frightened by the fact that Yuri had absorbed Yugo and met Yuya that he's speeding up Ray's revival.
- Good Parents: Yusho refuses to hand over his son to Yuri.
- Handicapped Badass: Yusho may still not have recovered from his injuries yet, but his ability to predict that Yuri would turn, by his set Dark Seed Planter, Entermate Sky Magician into a DARK attribute monster with intent to be used as a Fusion material using his other set card, Super Polymerization, is not something to scoff at.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Almost. Reiji, believing he made a monster out of Reira, would have been defeated had he not acquired an Action Card to save himself.
- Insistent Terminology: Yuri does not take kindly to Yuya addressing him condescendinglynote , preferring that he be referred to by name.
- Kick the Dog: Yuri, who is influenced by Zarc at this point as a result of gaining a Battle Aura, attempts to absorb Yuya to become whole again.
- Not Himself: When Yuri demands Yusho to hand over Yuya, there is something wrong his usual Blood Knight mindset. This is because Zarc has influenced him to do so.
- Papa Wolf: Yusho refuses to let anyone hurt Yuya, not even an Awakened Yuri.
- Pet the Dog: Reiji saying that he realizes he was wrong to see Reira as lesser than him and his desire to revive Ray is fine. Even after defeating him, he rushes to his little brother to make sure he's fine.
- Pintsized Powerhouse: Yuri. As a result of absorbing Yugo, he has incredible shadow powers but he's not even at Yusho's shoulders.
- Protagonist Title: This episode is dedicated to Yusho and his Entertainment Dueling.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: Although his comedic presence was downplayed as of late, Yugo's absorption is this.
- Shoot the Shaggy Dog: For Edo and Kaito. They joined the duel and were able to free Yugo from Zarc's grasp. Only to watch him lose and be absorbed by Yuri.
- Spell My Name With An S: Yusho's name is spelled as Yusyo in the splash page.
- Wham Shot:
- Yuri absorbing Yugo, and acquisition of his Clear Wing.
- Ruri disappearing in Arc-V.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: It's not clear what became of Sora, Edo, and Kaito after Yuri blows Yusho away into Leo's throne room. By Episode 135, however, they're shown to be just fine.
- Worthy Opponent: Yuri finds both Yugo and Yusho to be this.
- You Are Too Late: Yusho is powerless to do anything to stop Yuri from absorbing Yugo.
- You Monster!: Declan says this word-for-word to Yuri in the dub.
