Countertop Intro

Bob and Larry once again greet the kids from atop the Countertop, before Bob then says that they got a letter from Caleb Whittier from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. However, Larry stops Bob, asking him why he always gets the letters, which Bob is confused about, before Larry asks him, "Why is it you always read the letter? I mean, what if somebody wrote a letter to me?" Bob then tells Larry that if he got a letter, he can read it, which Larry is elated about, before he explains to the viewers that they got a letter from Elijah Castillo from San Antonio, Texas. Larry is about to read the letter that Eli wrote (while also asking Elijah if he can call him Eli), when Bob interrupts him, saying that he doesn't mean to be rude, but Caleb has a problem, before Larry tells him that Eli has a question too and that it's just as every bit as important as Caleb's question. Bob then allows Larry to read his letter, asking him what Elijah's problem is, before Larry reads it, saying that Eli says that there's a bully, which Bob questions about, before saying that Caleb wrote about the same thing. Larry then quips, "Wow, that's one busy bully", before Bob tells him that it's not the same bully, before Larry asks him how he knows, before Bob answers rather indignantly that it's highly improbable for one bully to bother two kids that are five-hundred miles apart, and that sometimes, being certain of something just means highly probably. Larry then tells Bob, "Instead of talking about this, wouldn't it be a better idea to answer the question?" Bob then realizes that Larry is right, before Larry adds that being bullied is a big problem, which Bob also agrees with. Larry then says that they should show the kids what God says about bullying, with Bob trying to say that he was about to suggest that, before Larry says, "ROLL FILM!"

Bully Trouble

Junior Asparagus, who is pretending to be Robin Hood, is playing with his friends, Laura Carrot, Annie Onion, Percy Pea, and Lil' Pea, singing about how they take from the rich and give to the poor, such as money and food to all of the poor people in Sherwood Forest. However, the song is cut short when a giant green-skinned monster shows up, chasing after Junior all through Sherwood Forest. Junior ends up tripping on an apple, leaving him as an open target for the monster to jump on top of him. Back in reality, it is revealed that it was all Junior's imagination and that he and his friends are actually on the playground in the park, but Junior does end up getting sat upon by a tough-talking male gourd named Gourdon. Gourdon then asks Junior what he's doing on 'his' playground, before telling Junior and everyone else that if he ever catches any of them on his playground again, he'll pound them, like he did to Junior. Because of that, Junior and his friends are forced to leave the playground after that.

At Junior's home, Annie approaches the treehouse that Junior is sitting in, while tossing a football up and down a few times. Annie then asks Junior if he would like to come to Laura's house to play, but Junior tells her "No thanks". Annie tells him that Laura's mom is making cookies, but Junior still turns her down. Annie then tells Junior that Gourdon is "just a big ol' bully", which Junior says that he knows, before Annie asks him if he wants to tell his mom or dad, but Junior tells her that he's fine and that there's nothing to tell, but he does manage to tell Annie to tell Gourdon that he doesn't own the playground. After that, Junior then daydreams in which he is at a football game, in which he is able to effortlessly defeat a whole team comprised of bullies looking exactly like Gourdon. After the game is over, everyone cheers for Junior, before Junior's daydream is interrupted by Laura calling out to him from down below. As Junior comes down from his treehouse, Laura asks him what he was doing up there, with Junior answering that he was just thinking. Laura tells Junior that she wanted to make sure he was alright, but Junior says that he's just fine and why wouldn't he be okay. When Laura tells Junior that Gourdon is awfully big, Junior confidently boasts that Gourdon doesn't scare him, which Laura is incredulous at, before Junior asks, "What's the worst he can do? Sit on me? He already did that, and I barely felt it!" Laura then asks Junior if they could go back to the playground someday, before Junior says, "I'd go back today if you guys wanted to. He's probably gone by now anyway". Laura is amazed that Junior would actually be willing to face up to Gourdon, before Junior reiterates that Gourdon doesn't scare him. Laura then tells Junior that that's fantastic and that she'll go tell everybody, which causes Junior's fake confidence to deflate, before he dejectedly says, "I'm toast."

At that moment, Junior then has another daydream, this time as a brave space explorer known as Junior Spaceman (in a nod to that of Calvin's Spaceman Spiff persona from Calvin and Hobbes). Junior Spaceman cruises through space in his little spacecraft before crash-landing on a distant planet. While doing some exploring on the planet, Junior Spaceman comes across a sign that reads, "Welcome to the Planet Sandboxian, Population: 1 big bully, leave now or you're toast". Junior then reports to his superior that he's approached the planet of "the Dreaded Bully Monster", before coming across what looks like a large purple mountain standing in his way. However, when Junior throws a rope with a grappling hook onto the mountain, it turns out that the mountain is actually a giant purple-skinned space monster, the Dreaded Bully Monster, who then starts Junior all the way back to his spacecraft. The monster then approaches Junior's spacecraft, before Junior comes back up while holding a laser, which emits a bunch of energy waves that causes the monster to become weightless and float away helplessly into space. With the Dread Bully Monster taken care of, Junior Spaceman proudly proclaims that he has saved the day once again.

However, when it seems that the monster has returned, Junior proudly states, "Thought you could sneak up on me, eh?", before his daydream ends and it turns out that Dad Asparagus was the one who had approached him. Junior then meekly tells his dad that he was just playing in the sandbox. When Dad asks Junior who Junior Spaceman vanquished today, Junior answers, "Mount Gourdon, a big old bully on a playground far far away". Junior then asks Dad if he was ever afraid when he was a kid, Dad answers that he was, saying that he wasn't always "the strapping specimen" that he is today, before saying that he remembered one guy in his class who always picked on him, even when he tried ignoring him, hiding from him, and hoping that he would go away. Finally, he stood up to the bully, before being pounded by him for it, but was never bothered by the bully again, because the bully knew that he wasn't afraid of him. Dad then explains to Junior that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but rather one of courage, and that if he were Junior Spaceman, he'd stand up for himself. When Junior asks "What if he pounds me, er, him?", Dad then tells him to turn the other cheek, which Junior is confused about, before Dad tells him, "Sometimes a spaceman's just gotta do what a spaceman's gotta do". Dad then also tells him that God's rule don't just work at home, but they also work on playgrounds "far far away".

Junior is left all alone, before Laura, Annie, Percy, and Lil' Pea show up, with Annie telling Junior what Laura told them. Despite the fear of Percy and Lil' Pea, and despite his own hesitance, Junior and his friends decide to return to the playground, while Dad Asparagus is happy that Junior is doing what is right. Back at the playground, Junior, Laura, Annie, Percy, and Lil' Pea see that Gourdon is not in sight, before they start to play on the playground once again. However, it turns out that Gourdon was on top of the slide, before he slides back down and lands right in front of Junior, telling him, "What did you do? Come back for a second helping of pounding?" Nevertheless, Junior, remembering what his dad told him, decides to stand up to Gourdon, telling him that no one owns the playground, before telling him that it's big enough for everyone to share. When Percy says, "You tell him, Junior!", Gourdon threatens him that he's going to pound him next, before Junior tells Percy that he's not helping. When Gourdon asks Junior who's going to make him share 'his' playground, Junior answers that he can't make Gourdon do anything, and that if he's going to pound him, he'd go ahead with it, but what's it going to prove? Junior then says that no matter what Gourdon does, it's not going to stop him, and that he'll be coming back to the playground day after day and that Gourdon will have to beat him up every day, because he's not afraid of him, before also telling Gourdon that he could just stay and play with them.

After this lecture, Gourdon then tells Junior that he'll really enjoy beating up Junior every single day for the rest of his life, but Annie then also stands up to Gourdon, telling him that he'll have to beat her up to, before Laura, Percy, and Lil' Pea also stand up to Gourdon as well. Finding that he is outnumbered, Gourdon decides to leave the playground, saying that he never liked it anyway and that he's going home to play video games. Once Gourdon has left, everyone is happy that they stood up to Gourdon, with Laura asking Junior if Gourdon will come back, before Junior answers, "Well, if he does, I hope it's because he wants to be friends". Annie compliments Junior for being really brave, before Juniors tells her that "sometimes, a guys gotta do what a guy's gotta do". This time, Junior once again daydreams that he's Robin Hood again, before he and his friends sing about standing for what's right even when bullies come near, knowing that they are not weak, turning their cheek, with the courage that comes from God, before the song ends.

Silly Songs with Larry

Larry has decided to order a pizza, but feels that something isn't right because he waited for hours. He then sings about how he wants Pizza Angel to come to him, still worried about the pizza being late. However, the door then starts knocking, so Larry elatedly goes over to answer it but sadly discovers that the delivery boy (played by Jimmy Gourd) had already eaten the pizza because he couldn't find his house, on account of the number being broken. Larry then sings once again about wanting Pizza Angel to come to him, before he says, "I'll never forget you, Pizza Angel".

Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush

In the snowy mountains of the Himalayas, a brave and adventurous explorer by the name of Minnesota Cuke (played by Larry the Cucumber) is searching for a priceless relic, under the guidance of his good friend Marten (played by Bob the Tomato). After approaching a nearby mountain, Minnesota sees what is known as "the Golden Carrot Nose of the Indomitable Snowman of the North". However, as Minnesota climbs up the snowman he hears his phone start beeping, but is able to retrieve the carrot nose, before answering his phone, telling Marten that he got it, but Marten tells Minnesota the he forgot to tell him something about the snowman, just as the snowman's head falls off and starts roll after Minnesota. The chase continues down the mountain, until Minnesota falls down the mountain until the snowman's head falls on top of him afterwards. When Minnesota looks around to try and find where the carrot nose went, he sees it not too far off, until his longtime rival Professor Rattan (played by Mr. Lunt) shows up and gains possession of the carrot nose, before he hops off laughing after that. Minnesota's phone then beeps again so he answers it, with Marten telling him too late that the snowman is incredibly unstable.

After arriving back at the Moose Lake Children's Museum, Minnesota vows not to go out adventuring again with Professor Rattan still roaming around out there. Marten tries to assure Minnesota by telling him that Professor Rattan is just a bully and to pay no attention to him, while Minnesota tells him incidents involving when Professor Rattan stole Salvador's Dolly and switched the gummy worms in Minnesota's lunch with real worms. However, a man from the New York Parks and Recreation Department (played by Scallion # 1) shows up, explaining that he has an emergency that only he can help with. Minnesota then says, "Talk to the tomato, I don't go out anymore", before Marten tells the Park Man to give Minnesota some space, before asking the Park Man what the trouble is. The Park Man then explains that a rogue band of Canadian barrel-makers are plotting to take over both sides of Niagara Falls, before Minnesota shows up saying that the Canadians have the best side already, with Marten telling him, "I thought you were sulking". When Marten asks how the Canadians can do this, the Park Man tells him that they can't yet because they aren't strong enough, but their leaders are looking for an item that will empower them beyond belief, the item in question being the legendary Hairbrush of Samson.

When Minnesota asks who Samson is, Marten explains to him that Samson (played by the Peach, as seen in the bible that Marten brings out) was the strong man used by God to fight off the Philistines that were bullying the Israelites. When Minnesota asks what the deal with the hairbrush is, the Park Man explains that Samson's amazing strength came from his long hair, with Marten trying to tell him that that's not entirely true, before the Park Man explains further that when Samson's hair was cut, he lost his strength, and that the hairbrush is believed to be the very same that was used during the infamous shearing. The Park Man then explains that the rogue Canadians believe that whoever has possession of the brush will also gain Samson's amazing power. Minnesota then decides that if he finds the brush first, then he'll have all the power and that he can stop Rattan from bullying everybody. Marten then tells Minnesota to be careful because it isn't a chance to try to get even with Rattan and that it's more important than that. The Park Man then adds that it would make a lovely addition to the children's museum, telling Minnesota, "You are our last hope, Mr. Cuke". Minnesota then says that this time, he'll have the goods on Professor Rattan so he'll go, with Marten asking him where he'll start. Minnesota then says that there's one person who would know about a brush this important, before saying that he's going out for ice cream.

Soon, Minnesota has taken a plane that takes him from Moose Lake to Lombard, Franklin, and finally to Malta. After arriving in Malta, Minnesota approaches an ice cream place called Malta Malts, in which he meets up with his old friend Julia (played by Petunia Rhubarb), who tells him, "I always knew that someday, you'd come walking through my door". Minnesota then tells Julia that he needs a couple of things from him, the first one being a chocolate malt (which he mispronounces as 'malta', with Julia explaining to him that malt is a dessert while Malta is an island), and the second one being clues to the location of Samson's hairbrush, which surprises Julia, before she tells Minnesota that she's heard that there a lot of guys after this brush, before telling Minnesota that it's too dangerous and for him to stay out of it. But Minnesota tells her that "Somebody's gotta stand up for the little guy". Even when Julia tells Minnesota that he's asking for trouble, she gives him the address to where the hairbrush is located, which is "206 Via De Cortez De Pelo", and that there some fellows there might help. Minnesota then thanks Julia for the information and turns to leave, but Julia tells him that he forgot his malt, but Minnesota says that it's not for him before leaving, before Julia then starts drinking the malt. The door then opens again before Julia then turns to find that Professor Rattan had also entered as well, demanding for her to give him the address, but Julia tells him that she'll never tell. However, Professor Rattan then approaches the freezer and turns the dial from 'Freeze' to 'Melt', which causes the ice cream inside to melt.

Outside, Minnesota then tells Marten on his phone about the address that he got from Julia, before Marten tells him more information about Samson, explaining that God wanted Samson to be extra-special and that Samson had to make certain promises to God, which were that he couldn't touch dead things, eat grapes, or cut his hair, but Samson didn't always keep his promises very well. Minnesota is in a hurry so he tells Marten to find the address for him, but Marten says that he can't find this address anywhere in Malta, to which Minnesota muses that he probably got it wrong, so he decides to go back to the ice cream shop to double-check. Back in the ice cream shop, the entire room is now flooded with melted ice cream, to which Julia now finds herself trapped on one of the tables floating in the room. Julia then jumps up and grabs hold of the ceiling fan above, but unfortunately, this causes the ceiling fan to break from the ceiling before falling into the melted ice cream while still turning, to which it then starts cutting up the tables. When Minnesota comes back into the ice cream shop, Julia calls out to him for help, so Minnesota is able to come to the rescue by swinging in on his rope and scooping up Julia, just as the table she was standing on was about to be cut up by the ceiling fan. After saving Julia from her plight, Julia explains to Minnesota about a man who came in asking about the address. Minnesota then says that they have to find the address, before Julia tells him that they are going to Seville.

Soon, Minnesota and Julia have boarded a plane which takes them to Seville, Spain. In a barbershop in Seville, two carrot barbers named Leo and Figaro get into an argument in which Leo says that he cannot find his best razor. Minnesota and Julia then enter the barbershop while discussing about the man who came into her ice cream shop, just as Leo greets them, asking Minnesota to have a seat. When Leo tells Julia that they only do men's hair, Julia admonishes him, to which Leo and Figaro are able to recognize Julia after that, before getting into another argument after that about whether Julia looks great or not. Julia then asks the two barbers that her and Minnesota came to ask them about something, before Figaro asks her what she needs to know, but Leo tells Figaro that Julia was talking to him, before the two barbers argue once again, with Minnesota telling Julia that he thinks this is a bad idea. Despite that, Minnesota tells Leo and Figaro that he needs to know about a hairbrush, which is Samson's hairbrush, surprising both Leo and Figaro, as they seat Minnesota in one of the barber's chairs, drape a cape around his neck, and remove his fedora and hang it up on the hat rack next to the door. Even in spite of Minnesota's insistence that he doesn't need a haircut, Figaro and Leo explain to him about how they are part of "la Fratellonza de la Spazolla", meaning "the Brotherhood of the Hairbrush" in Italian. They also explain that for centuries, their papas and their papas' papas have protected the secret of the whereabouts of this brush and that they cannot let it fall into the wrong hands. When asked why he needs the hairbrush, Minnesota explains that he needs it to find it before the Canadians do, which Figaro and Leo are surprised about. Fortunately, Figaro assures Minnesota that the hairbrush is safe where no one will ever find it, before Leo also tells him that down below underneath the city there are secret catacombs that lead to a secret chamber where the hairbrush is kept. When Minnesota asks if anyone finds the catacombs, Figaro tells him that no one can find the catacombs without a map, which he then takes out.

However, the person in the chair next to Minnesota is revealed to be Professor Rattan as he quickly takes the map from Figaro before he hops out the door laughing, but not without telling Minnesota, "You lose, Worm Eater!" This time, Minnesota is now determined to catch Rattan and stop him, but is stuck in the barber chair, while repeatedly yelling for Figaro to let him out of the chair. After Minnesota has been let out of the chair, he rushes out from the barber shop before telling Marten about how Rattan got the map that leads to the hairbrush, before he asks where the Park Man went, to which Marten claims that the Park Man was standing next to him a few minutes ago. Marten then tells Minnesota that Rattan is just a bully and that he can deal with him, but Minnesota states that Rattan is more than a bully, he's his enemy. Marten also explains to Minnesota that the bible tells us to love our enemies, which Minnesota is in disbelief about, with Marten also telling him that everyone can't get even with each other. Of course, Minnesota is still even more determined to find the hairbrush and use it to teach Professor Rattan a lesson, before he comes back into the barber shop again after that. When Minnesota asks where the catacombs are, Figaro and Leo go over to the barber chair that Rattan was sitting in minutes ago, revealing that it concealed a secret entrance into the catacombs. Julia wants to come with Minnesota, but Minnesota tells her that it's too dangerous and that he has to go alone, before Julia tells him to be careful.

After entering the catacombs, Minnesota starts to make his way through the catacombs, before noticing that on the walls of the catacombs are pictures that tell the story of Samson and about how he was able to make quick work of the Philistines, but ended up getting his hair cut, which caused him to lose his strength. After making a right turn, Minnesota then enters the chamber of the catacombs, in which a rope and plank bridge is suspended across a pit and leads to where the hairbrush is kept. Minnesota then starts crossing the bridge, but a part of it gives out underneath him, which leaves him stuck in-between some of the planks, before he looks down in the pit to see a bunch of worms at the bottom, to which he says rather fearfully, "Worms, why did it have to be worms?" Minnesota is able to pull himself up again before he finally makes it to where the hairbrush is kept, as he takes it out of the container that it was kept in. However, Professor Rattan then shows up, congratulating him for finding the hairbrush, before telling him to hand over the hairbrush. When Minnesota asks why he would do that, saying that he has the brush and the power, but when he tries to demonstrate this, it doesn't work, which he wonders about, before Rattan tells him that the brush doesn't work because he has no hair. Once again, Rattan asks Minnesota to give him the hairbrush, but Minnesota angrily tells him that he'll never give the brush to him, the Canadians, or anybody.

Rattan then has the Park Man bring in a now bound and gagged Julia, to which Rattan explains to Minnesota that the Park Man works for him, before the Park Man tells him that it was him who told him the address of the barbershop, which led them straight to the brush. Rattan then tells Minnesota to trade the brush for Julia, with Julia telling Minnesota not to do it. Even in spite of this, Minnesota then gives the brush to Rattan, who then pushes Julia next to him, before Rattan then uses a knife to cut the ropes of the bridge, which leaves both Minnesota and Julia dangling over the pit of worms. Minnesota then tells Professor Rattan that he won't get away with this, but Rattan tells him, "Everyone says that, but I always do", before he leaves while telling them goodbye. Minnesota and Julia then climb up the broken bridge before they make it back onto the pedestal where the brush was kept. Minnesota is still determined to get back at Rattan for every bad thing that he ever did to him, but Julia sadly tells Minnesota that he's changed and that he no longer cares about the brush and that he only wants to get back at Rattan, before she tells him, "You're nothing but a bully". When these words hit Minnesota really hard, he realizes that being mean to a bully only makes him a bully too, but it's too late and that he can't do anything now.

However, his phone then beeps once again, so Minnesota answers it again, with Marten telling him what he found out, but Minnesota is able to tell him that the Park Man is actually working for Rattan and that now Rattan can rule the world now that he has the brush. Of course, Marten then tells Minnesota that the brush does not have any power, before telling Minnesota that the bible says that God gave Samson's his strength, not his hair or his hairbrush, before telling him that the reason Samson lost his strength after his hair was cut was because he didn't keep his promise to God, before also explaining that the best part is that God gives us an even greater power than Samson's, which is the power to love our enemies, and even be kind to them. Even when Minnesota states that this won't be easy, he and Julia are able to escape from the catacombs by using an improvised slingshot made from the broken rope bridge that sends them right through the catacombs before arriving back where they started from. Rattan and the Park Man are about to escape from the barber shop when Minnesota and Julia confront them after making it back up to the surface, which angers Rattan as he tells them, "I have a brush, and I know how to use it!" When Julia asks Minnesota if Rattan is crazy enough to try something, Minnesota answers with, "You betcha". At that moment, a pair of Canadian Mounties (played by Jimmy and Jerry Gourd) enter the barber shop, with Figaro and Leo explaining to Minnesota that the Mounties have been called to take care of Rattan. Jimmy then says that nobody comes to the rescue better than the Canadian Mounties. Rattan then waves the brush in front of the Mounties in a threatening matter, but when he attempts to use the brush, it doesn't work, which surprises him, wondering why the brush doesn't work. When the Park Man asks if it has anything to do with the batteries, Minnesota answers that it doesn't have any power.

The Mounties then prepare to take Rattan away, but when Minnesota asks them why they're taking Rattan away, the Mounties answer that it's because he stole a hairbrush, but Minnesota tells them that he didn't because he gave it to him and for them to let go, which the Mounties do before they leave after that. The Park Man wants to leave, but Rattan wants to know why Minnesota is being kind to him, before Minnesota answers that God gives us the power to love everybody, even our enemies. When Minnesota tries to give the brush back to Rattan, Rattan says that he doesn't want it after all, but Minnesota tells him that he does need it, saying that he could use it to cover up the bald spot that Rattan has. Once Rattan's hair has been brushed to cover up his bald spot, he apologizes to Minnesota for everything that he did and that he's going to like being friends. After arriving back at the Moose Lake Children's Museum, Minnesota was able to bring back the hairbrush and put it on display, which Marten is glad to see. Minnesota then tells Marten that Rattan didn't need it after all after giving up "that whole world domination thing", with Marten telling him that he's glad that it all worked out. Julia then tells Minnesota that she's proud of the way he handled that bully, which Minnesota is modest about, just as the phone rings. Marten then goes to answer the phone, realizing that it's someone calling to ask Minnesota if he could partake on another dangerous mission, this time to find Noah's Umbrella. This time, Minnesota is now prepared for another adventure, as he says, "I'm on my way!"

Countertop Outro

Back on the Countertop, Bob and Larry comment about the story being excited, telling Caleb and Elijah that they hoped they liked it. By that time, Larry decides that Elijah prefers to be called by his full name, stating "Highly probable", when Bob asks him about it. When Bob says that they're over by Qwerty to talk about what they've learned today, the "What Have We Learned" song then plays again, with Larry asking Bob why he doesn't like that song. Bob tries to answer but the song starts up once again. After the song ends, Bob says that he does like it, but before he can explain further, Larry tells him that it's time to talk about the lesson. Larry tells the viewers that today, we learned that there are bullies everywhere and sometimes, you can't do anything to change them. Bob then says that no matter what, God doesn't want us to try to get even, because that just makes us bullies too. Larry then says that God does want us to love them and like Junior learned, it's a good idea to talk to your mom or dad. Bob and Larry then look up to see what verse Qwerty has, with the verse being, "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:44". Larry then says that that doesn't sound easy, which Bob agrees with, before Bob says that just like in the story, God has given us the power to do good to those who haven't been good to us. Because of that, Bob and Larry then say that "God made you special, and he loves you very much", before signing off once again, as the episode ends after that.
