Convicted serial killer, Rosalind Dyer, has agreed to help the LAPD find three of her victim's bodies in exchange for commuting her sentence of death to life imprisonment. While visiting, they fall under attack by a relative of one of Rosalind's victims trying to kill her. Once they find the grave, though, they discover new bodies in the ground. Dyer refuses to help and they manage to barely save a third victim from being drowned at a zoo.
Unfortunately, Chen's first date with a handsome young man ends with her being drugged then kidnapped.
