Tropes:

  • Berserk Button: Being mistreated or called a "dog" or "bitch" is enough to set Cammy off.
  • Dance of Romance: Cammy and Jimmy share one on the dance floor.
  • Fantastic Racism: Once it's all out in the open, Cammy uses a "Not So Different" Remark. Jimmy immediately disagrees, expressing a low opinion of zombies and thinking them beneath vampires like himself.
  • Hypocrite: Jimmy takes offense to Ford's supposed racism, but he expresses racism towards the duo for being zombies.
  • Interspecies Romance: Cammy gets into a short-lived romance with Jimmy, unaware that he is a vampire and she is a zombie.
  • Ironic Echo: Cammy to Ford, "eat one!" while flipping him the bird.
  • Mistaken for Racist: Ford tells Jimmy to take his hands off Cammy and for Cammy to wash off. However, it's not because Jimmy's black. Ford dislikes him because he's alive, only to learn his rival is a vampire.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Ford ultimately shoots Jimmy. Cammy suggests this is not an unusual occurrence. They both get thrown for a loop when Jimmy reveals he's a vampire.
  • Neck Lift: Jimmy's strong enough to do this to Cammy with ease.
  • Not So Similar: According to Jimmy, zombies are nothing like vampires and calls the lot garbage-eaters who pick at whatever bodies that vampires leave behind.
  • Not So Stoic: Jimmy is pretty restrained, but he gladly indulges in ham after revealing himself to be a vampire.
  • Operation: Jealousy: After leaving Ford, Cammy goes looking for a guy and picks up Jimmy. Ford can immediately tell this is her revenge, and he acknowledges that it's working.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: Despite the fact that Cammy and Ford are revealed to be zombies, they show absolutely no signs of death or decay. That changes when they and Jimmy fall out of the window.
  • Shower of Love: Cammy and Jimmy share one off-screen.
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Both Ford and Jimmy are touchy about their faces being injured.
  • Tomato Surprise: Ford and Cammy are zombies and Jimmy is a vampire, and apparently zombies and vampires are prejudice against one another.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Cammy and Ford's accomplice Cutter briefly appears in the opening, but is quickly gunned down during the convenience store shootout.
  • Wham Shot: The seemingly dead Jimmy popping back up and bearing fangs.
