The girls are invited to see a joint concert between master violinist Michiru and the Three Lights. Though things behind the set get quite intense as Haruka develops a mutual animosity with Seiya when he tries to make a move on her girlfriend. And that's not even getting to how their new rivalry extends to their double lives as Sailor Guardians.

Tropes in this episode include:

  • Actually Pretty Funny: Michiru gives a soft giggle after Usagi gives a recap over the upcoming joint concert.
  • Bait-and-Switch: While out in the streets, Sailor Iron Mouse finds inspiration for a potential by looking at a poster promoting Michiru and the Three Lights. But instead of either the violinist or the teen idols, she decides to target Albert Pon Garajan, the concert conductor.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Usagi is upset that her efforts to team up with the Starlights were ruined by the Outer Guardians. But Seiya cheers her up by saying that friendship between two people from vastly different worlds can always work; he even uses his friendship with Usagi as an example.
  • Call-Back: Uranus and Neptune remind everyone that they do not trust anyone who trespasses in their Solar System.
  • Dramatic Irony: Iron Mouse plots to target some random old music conductor for his Star Seed instead of Michiru or the Three Lights.
  • Failed Attempt at Drama: When presenting herself to Garajan, Iron Mouse has to take a few seconds to find her misplaced business card.
  • Friendship Denial: While Sailor Moon is more than eager to work with the Starlights, the Outer Guardians refuse to have any association with them.
  • Get Out!: Haruka gives a calm "get the hell out" to get Seiya to leave Michiru's dressing room.
  • He's Not My Boyfriend: Usagi has to firmly remind Seiya that he isn't her boyfriend after Garajan asks if he is.
  • History with Celebrity: Michiru presents five free tickets to the Inner girls so they can see her perform on stage.
  • Honey Trap: Seeing how cocky Seiya is being, Michiru plays along by having him "help her" unzip her dress. He does this just in time for Haruka to show up making him look like a fool.
  • Hope Spot: Sailor Moon manages to convince the Starlights to work with her as teammates. But just as Star Fighter reaches her hand to shake, she's almost blasted by World Shaking.
  • It's the Best Whatever, Ever!: Rei and Minako dreamily declare that they're having the best day of their lives after Michiru gifts them free tickets to see the concert.
  • Joke and Receive: While waiting for Usagi to join them, Makoto speculates that she took the wrong bus and ended up in the middle of nowhere. Rei and Minako agree that she would do that while Ami tries to have faith in her. As it turns out, Makoto was right...
  • Musical Assassin: Subverted. Garajan turns into Sailor Conductor but his primary attack involves shooting wooden sticks at Sailor Moon.
  • No Sympathy: Neither Aluminum Siren nor Led Crow have any sympathy for Iron Mouse after she's brutalized by Galaxia for her failures.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: Having grown tired of Iron Mouse's lack of progress, Sailor Galaxia orders her to find her a true Star Seed or risk losing her life.
  • Plot Hole: Even though Usagi ended up taking the wrong bus to reach the concert, neither she or her friends consider using their communicators to stay in contact with each other.
  • Stopped Caring: Iron Mouse can't even bother to stick around to entertain Sailor Moon because of the severeness of her situation.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Haruka immediately despises Seiya for trying to make a move on her woman and even tries to punch him on their first meeting.
  • What Is This Feeling?: During the performance, Michiru thinks this word for word when she feels tremendous energy from the Three Lights and how they're trying to "message" someone. Likewise, Seiya compares the violinist's energy to be on par with a star's radiance.
