Jeramie: One of the Five Galactinsect Jesters, Hilbil, used her power to have the kings' retainers strike them down.
This filled the smallfolk with anxiety, giving rise to tensions between the kingdoms.
But Jeramie made the decision to claim the role of the mastermind, allowing this threat to Tikyu to come to an end.
...Or so the story goes.
If you'd like to praise me now, then by all means.

When visiting Hymeno, Rita discovers the former king of Gokkan freezing everything in her sight. After calming her down, they learn she has apparently been dead for days.

Just then, Gira and Jeramie bring down a mysterious hooded figure they found earlier. Hymeno recognizes him though: it's the man who killed her parents!

Tropes

  • Actor Allusion: The episode's title in Japanese contains the word 天秤/tenbin ("scales/balance"), and formally introduces Grodie, who is played by Kousei Amano; Amano previously portrayed Hayami/Libra Zodiarts in Kamen Rider Fourze.
  • Back from the Dead: Grodie can bring people back from the dead as mindless mooks.
  • But for Me, It Was Tuesday: Grodie has killed so many people that he genuinely can't remember killing Hymeno's parents.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Jeramie's mother suddenly appearing out of nowhere and hugging him, to his complete shock, asking him to save her.
  • Cooldown Hug: Hymeno gives Rita one in order to stop them from sealing themselves alongside Grodie.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: The rulers of Gokkan pass down a technique known as the Ice Seal, granting ice abilities to judge those that cannot be judged by law. However, it comes at the cost of the user freezing themselves.
  • Godzilla Threshold: Grodie proves too powerful to be handled by the King-Ohgers and the severity of his crimes provides Rita a justification to use the Ice Seal technique on him.
  • Happy Ending Override: Shiron’s hunt for his wife ended with him finding her body and getting killed by Kamejim.
  • Here We Go Again!: Upon his release by Kamejim and Minangon, Grodie reacts to the relaying of Dugded's orders as if he's heard the spiel a thousand times. It's only when he's told that Dugded wants nothing alive this time that he responds in any way.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Rita attempts to use the Ice Seal to stop Grodie and the new Fury of the Gods. Thankfully, Hymeno pulls them out of it before they and Grodie could freeze completely.
  • Out of Focus: Kaguragi and Yanma don't get much focus, only appearing for the final fight.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Lampshaded in that despite Grodie being one of the Five Jesters, Dagded doesn't actually remember him until Kamejim reminds him.
  • The Reveal:
    • Elegance reveals that Karras has actually been dead for some time, which is then revealed to be a result of Grodie using his reanimation powers on her.
    • Rita's heterochromia is a result of Karras passing on a hidden technique known as the "Ice Seal", an ice ability capable of imprisoning those that cannot be judged by law. Unfortunately, the user will have to freeze themselves along with the culprit in order for the technique to work.
    • The culprit of the Fury of the Gods is revealed to be the fifth Jester of the Galactinsects, Grodie Leucodium, or simply Grodie the Tranquil.
  • Taking You with Me: Discussed. There is an Ishabanan saying that goes "taselles mirullia da'pago", which roughly translates to "I don't care if I'm going to hell as long as I can take you down". This phrase provides Rita with the term they need to describe Grodie's situation, forcing them to use the Ice Seal technique to seal away the Jester who masterminded the Fury of the Gods and zombified Karras.
  • Trailers Always Spoil: The preview for this episode prematurely laid bare The Reveal that Grodie was responsible for the Fury Of the Gods.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Gira and Jeramie bringing in a freezing stranger for treatment at Ishabana allows him to reveal himself as Grodie the Tranquil, the fifth Galactinsect Jester.
  • Wham Episode: This episode spares no expense in laying out shocking reveal after reveal. The culprit of the Fury of the Gods and the assassination of Hymeno's parents is revealed to be the fifth Jester known as Grodie Leucodium, a powerful necromancer who revived the Semishugods to simply ruin everyone's happiness. In order to imprison him, Karras used the Ice Seal to ensure that he doesn't cause any more harm. Unfortunately, Kamejim with Minongan's help managed to break him out of the icy prison, quickly killing Karras in the process. Karras is then reanimated with Grodie's powers, blasting every surface that she could find with ice until she was found by Hymeno and Rita. On top of all of that, Nephila comes out of nowhere and knocks out everyone except for Jeramie, begging him to save her.
  • Wham Shot: Grodie being punched by Nephila, Jeramie's mother.
  • The Worf Effect: To highlight Grodie's skills he effectively takes out all of the King-Ohgers in just a few slashes.
  • You Killed My Father: Once Hymeno recognizes Grodie, she wastes no time in aiming her sword at him.
