Iroha/Sana
Iroha recalls how she came to Kamihama to search for Ui, came to blows with the Wings of the Magius, and found evidence of Ui's existence through the Rumor of the Eternal Sakura. She laments that she can't leave the cell they've locked her in with her Soul Gem confiscated.
Nemu grows weary from producing Rumors, and the Magius decide to do all they can to buy time for Walpurgisnacht to arrive at Kamihama, such as altering the area around them so that only their Feathers could use telepathy and summoning some of Alina's Witches. Meanwhile, as the rest of Team Mikazuki and Kanagi arrive at the Eternal Sakura, Sana infiltrates the Magius' headquarters alone. As a massive storm begins to brew, Madoka and Homura decide to go and help Iroha too.
Sana continues to evade the Feathers, while realizing the building she's in seemed designed to weaken her magic enough for them to sense her. She overhears some of them mention Alina needing Iroha's Soul Gem for something. She quickly calls out for help, causing a Black Feather to come over and get knocked out by Sana. She refuses to explain where Iroha was being held, so Sana chooses to knock her out and take her cloak for herself. She follows the White Feather into a dungeon, while asking what Alina wanted with Iroha. The Feathers gloat about how Iroha would probably be fed to Eve for getting in the way of their liberation and that the Magius knew what was best for them. Once they reach Iroha's cell, Sana takes off her disguise and immediately attacks the Feathers, but a Black Feather runs away with the cell's key. This doesn't stop Sana from breaking the cell open, but an Uwasa suddenly appears to attack her. They realize that the building was a Rumor responding to being damaged, and defeat the Uwasa.
Sana realizes that Iroha's Soul Gem was still being moved as they speak. They go out to immediately look for it instead of regrouping with Yachiyo. On their way out, Iroha explains that the Magius have summoned Walpurgisnacht and that the Feathers likely didn't know about it. The Feathers catch up to the pair and chase them into a corner. Suddenly, Kyoko shows up to aid Iroha while complaining about how strange the Feathers outside have been acting. She admits that she only wanted to join the Feathers to see what they're about and decided she didn't like how they operated. After they defeat the Feathers, Kyoko says she had been looking for Soul Gems after finding out that Mifuyu and the Amane sisters were captured for resisting the Magius. Iroha suddenly drops dead from the link to her Soul Gem being too disrupted, and the Feathers get away with her body. A gate suddenly forms in front of Kyoko and Sana, with the former having to explain to Sana what happened to Iroha to calm her down.Iroha wakes up later on and begins to argue with the Black Feathers as they escort her, but they rebuke that she doesn't know what its like to lose someone she loved, nor would she worry about Magical Girls who live outside of Kamihama. They mention a young girl who told them that they could be saved if they went to Kamihama, and Iroha realizes that they were talking about Ui. They agree that whoever they met wasn't normal, even if she didn't look like a Magical Girl, before changing the subject by insisting they don't care who gets sacrificed by the Magius. Iroha quietly drops her ribbon behind for Sana to find as they proceed towards the entrance.
Kyoko and Sana continue fighting through Uwasa, but by the time they make it out of the basement they've lost sight of Iroha. Sana notices the ribbon Iroha wears on her uniform and decides that's the direction they need to take before finding another White Feather to fight pass.

Yachiyo
The magical girls arrive outside of Hotel Fendt Hope and are startled by its size. The Feathers come out to face them before they could plan how to search for Iroha and Sana. The team notice that some Feathers hesitated more than others, and suspect that they are the members who are loyal to the idea of liberation instead of the Magius. They chase one of the Feathers into the hotel, and run into the Feather whose cloak was stolen by Sana, now wearing another cloak borrowed form a White Feather. The latter Feather asks her ally to retreat and call for more reinforcements while she held off their enemies. They try to convince her that the Magius had been using her for their own future and not vice versa. She reluctantly explains that Sana attacked her while looking for Iroha, and that she hadn't heard from Mifuyu in days.
As the group continue down the hallway, they start to realize the implications of Mifuyu being missing. Felicia spitballs the idea that Mifuyu could have been locked up, and they agree with her. Tsuruno suggests that they go look in the room where she was kept when she was brainwashed, which was likely at the top floor. Felicia abruptly smashes a hole into the ceiling and is attacked by an Uwasa. As they defeat the Uwasa and move upward, they eavesdrop on a conversation between more Feathers, who mention that Iroha and Sana were in the underground floor and need to be prioritized. Momoko agrees to go and rescue Iroha with Rena and Kaede while the rest of the group continue looking for Mifuyu. After struggling with the Feathers, they reach the room they're looking for and find Mifuyu and the Amane sisters with their Soul Gems missing. Before Yachiyo could beat the Soul Gems' location out of a White Feather, Kanagi reads her mind and learns that the Soul Gems and Iroha were being taken back to the entrance. Yachiyo and Kanagi agree to break through a window to get there as quickly as possible.
As soon as they landed and beat the Uwasa, Mifuyu and the Amane sisters woke up from getting close enough to their Soul Gems. After ensuring that they were fine, Yachiyo acknowledges Mifuyu's concern that the Magius have already summoned Walpurgisnacht to Kamihama. The rescued former Feathers agree to assist Yachiyo in stopping the Magius when they all notice some Feathers heading inside with their stolen Soul Gems, and immediately chase after them.

Momoko
Momoko and her gang go to eavesdrop on the Feathers, who are regrouping to hold them off while other Feathers continue searching for Sana. The team fight their way downstairs until they find the Feather who was attacked by Sana earlier. They demand that she get out of their way, but she begins to Freak Out enough about what could happen to her friend for her Doppel to manifest. After they endure the Doppel long enough for it to dissipate, they ask her again, and she tells them they need to break through the floors if they want to get to Iroha immediately while she takes care of the Uwasa. Eventually, Momoko goes down alone while Rena and Kaede stay upstairs to hold off the rest of the Uwasa. She deals with the the Black Feathers escorting Iroha before seeing the Feathers with her Soul Gem.\\\Rena and Kaede catch up to the Feather and try to take the Soul Gem back. Momoko causes them to spill on the floor, but before the Feathers could destroy them in desperation, Sana stops them while Mifuyu and Yachiyo show up to retrieve the Soul Gems.
Everyone
With the Soul Gems recovered, the White Feather who previously kept them began to rant about how the burdens of those from the East side of Kamihama can't be lessened because of their foes. Kanagi sympathizes with her complaint, but insists that they're only putting greater burden on everyone else. The Feathers begrudgingly decide to leave, knowing their selfish desires were overwhelmed.
Failing to have read the Feathers' minds earlier, Kanagi asks why and where they were taking the Soul Gems, and is told that Alina wanted them. The group realize that they're very close to where the Magius are and prepare themselves for their next fight. Mifuyu suggests looking for the hotel's underground chapel, but they find that the entrance was blocked off. They agree that Nemu couldn't have had enough time to alter the path entirely, so she must have used a trap instead. As soon as they destroy the wall, a large Uwasa blasts them with wind. Everyone except Kanagi and Team Mikazuki gets blown out of Fendt Hope, halving their numbers once more.
After the Uwasa of the Soldier Bear was dealt with, the girls inside the Hotel sense Alina's magic just before her Labyrinth opens to release several Witches and Familiars. Mifuyu calls for Yachiyo, letting her know that the Hotel was altered to keep her group out, which meant they'll need to destroy the Rumor while Yachiyo takes her friends downstairs and away from the destruction.
Outside, the Feathers who were fighting find the weather getting dangerously stormy and begin to wonder what Mifuyu would think of their efforts...

Inside
Team Mikazuki clears out the remaining Uwasa as well as a Witch that was summoned by Alina. They run into the Feathers again, who declare that they won't stop unless they have proof that Mifuyu really betrayed their cause. Suddenly, they hear Mifuyu's voice declare to every Feather the Magius' intentions to summon Walpurgisnacht and destroy Kamihama. Just as they start to argue about whether to keep fighting for their liberation or not, the Magius show up and... instead of helping decide to admit that they're wrong for summoning Walpurgisnacht. When they knock away the Feathers for questioning them, the heroines realize that these aren't the Magius but really copies obtained from Endless Mirrors. After beating the copies, the team moves on, leaving the unconscious Feathers behind.
The team continues down the hotel but find themselves at a dead end. Felicia gets ready to tear up the floor to find an underground passage, but gets knocked away by Mami. Before they reach a misunderstanding, Kanagi confirms that Mami isn't there to fight them. She elaborates that the wall blocking the way to the chapel was hidden with a spell that only she could undo. She cuts away the ribbon, summoning a weaker version of the Uwasa that once controlled her. After they get rid of it, they agree to go on without Mami. Kyoko shows up and hands her a Grief Seed, remarking that Mami ought to care about her friends before sacrificing herself. They then return outside to help destroy the Uwasa of Fendt Hope.

She also reminds everyone not to get too confident just because the Witches would drop more Grief Seeds, and that they should still refrain from using their Doppels. Eventually only the strongest Witch in Alina's collection remained, and it was pushing the seven Magical Girls to their limit. It took Mami and her juniors arriving to finally take down the Witch. Mifuyu notices that Mami wasn't bound to her Uwasa anymore, and the latter explains that it was Yachiyo who freed her from her weak self. Mami then requests that Mifuyu borrow the Amane sisters' magic to send a message to every Feather explaining the current situation, since Mami leaving the Wings of the Magius has left those outside Fendt Hope confused about what to do.
Some Feathers appear to try and stop the group, but Mifuyu and the Amane sisters are able to get the message out. She reports how the Magius have used Rumors to attempt to kill people in the Chelation Land incident, and are now going to use Walpurgisnacht to destroy Kamihama. She explains that they can keep fighting for the Magius if they're still comfortable with what they're doing, otherwise, they should really join her in stopping Walpurgisnacht. The Feathers who are right in front of her stop and agree to believe her. Meanwhile Mami decides to go inside the Hotel to briefly aid Yachiyo's side, leaving her friends to handle the Uwasa summoned by the damage. Kyoko also rushes inside before Madoka, Homura, and Sayaka realize it.

Tropes:
- Cutting the Knot: After finding out that Iroha was being taken to the entrance of Fendt Hope, Yachiyo and Kanagi agree that breaking through a window was the fastest way out, even if they had to fight more Uwasa.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Ikumi Makino and Ryo Midori make appearances as nameless Feathers before properly debuting in the Wings in the Wind event.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Mifuyu uses her illusion magic on herself to make her Soul Gem release stronger magic than it's supposed to destroy the Rumor of the Queen Bear. This causes her Soul Gem to crack, which puts her in a dangerous coma.
- Indy Ploy: The Amane sisters admit they've never tried to release sound waves without their flutes over all of Kamihama before, but it works anyway, and Mifuyu is able to get her message to every Feather in the city.
- Out-of-Character Alert: Team Mikazuki realizes that the Magius they run into are copies from Endless Mirrors since they apparently come out to surrender after hiding for so long. Then they realize that they're not talking in the usual manner (with Tsuruno noting that Alina isn't using Gratuitous Italian).
- Puff of Logic: Felicia, who isn't known for using her head, is the one who suggests what might have happened to Mifuyu, when the team hears from the Feathers that she was missing.
