Kenan and Kel pull a bunch of April Fool's pranks on everyone, but it eventually gets them all arrested.

- And I Must Scream: More like yelling after Kel caused Roger's mouth to shut using wet cement and he can't wait to yell at Kenan.
- Ask a Stupid Question...: After Kenan assaults the police officer he thought was a fake that hired to prank him, and gets arrested, he asked the police officer how he was supposed to know he wasn’t a fake, before the cop angrily shuts the cell door on him.
- Bullying a Dragon: After mistaking a police officer as someone hired by Kel to fool him, Kenan mocks him and dunks all sorts of condiments on him. Naturally, he gets arrested.Kenan: How was I supposed to know you were a real cop?
- Crying Wolf: Kenan calls his parents to inform them he's in jail, but they think it's another April Fool's prank and hang up.
- Deadly Prank: Kel tried to prank Kenan by filling his sandwich with wet cement but Roger ends up eating it instead, causing his mouth to get glued shut.
- Disproportionate Retribution: While the reasons everyone else got thrown in jail were understandable, Sharla and Marc getting arrested for not being able to pay for pizza and 'dognapping' (when the animal was clinging to his backpack) seems a bit extreme.
- Failed a Spot Check:
- Marc somehow never noticed that his school supplies were on the store counter and not in his backpack.
- Kenan doesn't notice ahead of time that the "fake" cop has a badgenote .
- Idiot Ball: Kenan decides to harass and humiliate a police officer.Kenan: How was I supposed to know you were a real cop?
- Ironic Echo: Kenan fools Kel right after making a truce. Kel does the same to him.
- Jail Bake: Kel attempts to use this to get Kenan out of jail. Unfortunately, he's too conspicuous about it, having placed a large saw inside a small cake, and gets thrown in jail too.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After being thrown into jail, Kenan tries to get help, but his parents refuse to listen to him after being tricked multiple times, and the only other people he can rely on to get him out of jail are also sent there because of his actions.
- Misplaced Retribution: The Rockmores plan to attack Kenan with ice cream and hot fudge for a prank that was Kel's doing and of which Kenan had no knowledge. Even worse, the prank wasn't even meant for Roger.
- Never My Fault: Kenan is baffled that everyone blames him for all of them being in prison. Chris and Sharla point out that the only reason they're here is because he made the fake lottery ticket and ordered dozens of pizzas and a diet soda, while Kel mentions that Marc was in there because he put dog food in his backpack.
- Not So Above It All: Sharla shows she is just interested in Kenan's jokes.
- Oh, Crap!: Roger and Sheryl realized too late they pranked the college recruiter instead of Kenan.
- Prank Gone Too Far: Kenan's pranks get everyone arrested.
- Prison Episode: The second half of the episode became this after Kenan assaults an officer.
- The Unintelligible: Roger is unable to speak after taking a bite out of Kel's sandwich that had wet cement in it. At one point, he had to write on a notepad to communicate with Kenan.Kenan: What are you saying?
Kel: He said, "Mmmm! Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm!"
(Roger grumbles, then writes on a notepad and gives it to Kenan)
Kenan: (reading from the notepad) "I'm very angry at you. I can't wait until my mouth is unstuck so I can yell at you. P.S. I'm warning you. No more jokes." - Wham Line: Kenan asks Kel why the cop was giving him a ticket for having his bike near a fire hydrant if he never sent it there. Kel reveals he sent it there.
