It's Spencer Shay's birthday, but when the iCarly gang realize he has friends younger than him (aside from Socko going on vacation and a falling out between him and T-Bo), they set out to find friends his age.
Tropes:
- Birthday Episode: It's Spencer's turn.
- Broken Pedestal: Because Spencer's personality doesn't match with his new friends, he complains to Carly, Sam, and Freddie about why he doesn't like them.
- Call-Back: While Spencer's former "friends" are puking in Gibby's bathroom, he sings "Loving You" which he also sung in "iCan't Take It".
- Happy Birthday to You!: At the end, Carly and the others sing "For He's a Jolly Good Spencer".
- Hypocrite: Spencer's new friends don't like him because he's too immature. Meanwhile, they wouldn't share chili fries with him because he initially didn't want them (he thought his nachos would be brought out at the same time) and even rubbed it in his face as they enjoyed them.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The three "friends" for Spencer rub it in his face that their food came out first and he can't eat their fries. Barely two minutes later, the tainted fries give all three of them food poisoning and they're running for the bathroom.
- Manchild: The driving point of the episode is that Spencer's childishness means he can only really befriend kids/teens and other immature adults (like Socko and T-Bo). When he tries to make friends with people his own age, they get along fine, but Spencer can't find any common ground.
- Misplaced Retribution: Due to Freddie insulting the waiter at the diner, he allegedly tampers with Freddie's chili fries, which were later given to Spencer's new "friends." They accidentally eat the fries, and get sick thereafter.
- Special Guest: Emma Stone (Easy A, The Amazing Spider-Man) appears as an obsessive fan willing to take pictures with the crew, including where she rushes to the boys' restroom and swipes a meatball off Gibby's tray. She then jumps onto the iCarlys' table and is escorted from the restaurant by the staff.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Sandwich: At the end, everyone is ready to have a giant spaghetti taco for Spencer's birthday, but Spencer stops them and insists before they eat, they play a game of Jamaican Laser Tag.
