We're friends to the end!" Cut to Jon on the deck of the ship and Garfield on the boat dock, remarking "Gee, the end came sooner than I thought."
  • Jerkass: The Captain. He refuses to allow cats on his ship, and when he finds Garfield, he gets both him and Jon kicked off it and strands them on an island until after the cruise is over. When Jon protests, the Captain tells him that as the Captain, he can do whatever he wants.
  • Script Swap: When Garfield reaches the PA room, he finds a typewriter and uses it to type "Attention, all passengers. Free pizza now being served. Just look for the deck our captain is on."
