Uh-oh! Milo has received an ominously-worded and banana scented letter from his arch rival, the Warrior Monkey. It says he's seeking revenge for chagrins past. No time to think about it when, uh-oh! It's Owen-Only! In trouble! He's foolishly pretended to need his tonsils out (all for a first taste of that elusive elixir known to kids as 'ice cream'). Will the Captain be able to spring him from the hospital while trying to avoid the Warrior Monkey?

Tropes in this episode:

  • Brain Freeze: Happens to Owen after he eats a big scoop of ice cream at the end of the episode.
  • Bubble Boy: Owen's overprotective mother uses a plastic bubble on her son due to her being concerned about the hospital being full of germs and sheep lint.
  • Conversation Cut: After Milo reads a letter from his nemesis the Warrior Monkey written in monkey to seek revenge, he would do what any superhero would do in this situation such as striking a defiant pose, never admitting defeat and complain about his nervous tummy. However, his mother heard that he has a nervous tummy but Milo said it was only a figure of speech and wasn't really an emergency. The scene then cuts mid-sentence to the hospital waiting room due to her having an appointment there.
Milo's Mom: Milo has a nervous tummy? I bet it's something that's going around.
Milo: Uh, no Mom. It's just a queasy feeling. It's not like it's an...
[scene cuts to a hospital waiting room]
    Lizbeth: Emergency?
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Milo uses an iceberg-on-a-stick (or a popsicle) to calm Owen down but then he saw that the Warrior Monkey is here and drops the popsicle, causing Owen to get the chills. However, it was revealed by Lizbeth that it was just a "Get Well" teddy bear, which Milo thoughts to be the Warrior Monkey.
    • To warm up Owen's chills, Milo uses a lot of blankets to cool him down but instead of cooling, he gets hotter due to overdoing it.
    • To cool down the heat from Owen, Milo then uses ice to put it on his mouth, but the doctor mistakenly mentioned that he have chipmunkitis (due to his cheeks being loaded with lots of ice).
    • To avoid the Warrior Monkey performing a "kid-ectomy" on Owen, he to pretends to be a hospital speaker (by using a megaphone) to announce that the Warrior Monkey is needed for the O.R. Unfortunately, it backfired as he returned shortly after.
  • Dressed to Heal: The Warrior Monkey disguises himself as a doctor so he can perform a "kid-ectomy" on Owen.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" as animals and hospitals don't operate on kids, they are supposed to entertain the kids. He decided to entertain the kids by singing "Five Little Monkeys" on a accordion, which although the Warrior Monkey can resist silly music, he cannot resist silly lyrics and decided to stop the "kid-ectomy".
  • Oh, Crap!: The Warrior Monkey's reaction when the doctor mentioned that "Owen's" chipmunkitis has evolved into advanced simianism and is now required to have surgery and a complete butt transplant, much to his shock.
  • Running Gag: Owen's various different side effects from his "tonsillitis" includes hypothermia (after Milo drops the popsicle on Owen, causing him to get the chills), him turning red (after Milo puts too many blankets on him to cool his chills), chipmunkitis (due to his cheeks being loaded with lots of ice) and flying chipmunkitis (after Owen's hospital bed throws him to the ceiling after Milo pushes a button for the bed). This badly concerns his overprotective mother until Owen tells the truth that he doesn't have tonsillitis.
  • The Tonsillitis Episode: Averted. Owen wants to have some ice cream but then he has heard of a disease called tonsillitis which he thought that it was another word for ice cream, which causes him to get nervous. His overprotective mom then hears about it and drags Owen for an operation. At the end of the episode, he told his overprotective mom the truth that he doesn't actually have tonsillitis and just wanted ice cream.

Milo is assigned the worst homework project ever - putting together his family tree. Every time he tries to get some information from his mom and dad, they show off his baby pictures. Looks like the kid in trouble is him! To get to the truth of his past, Milo travels back in time to his grandmother's house when his mom and dad were kids. He does some flamingoing to help his mom and dad and returns back to the future to discover that the Warrior Monkey has taken his place! What happened in the past to change his future? Yikes! This is a big one!

Tropes in this episode:

  • Big "NO!": Happens to Milo and Lizbeth after the Warrior Monkey still retrieving the baby distractor in the nursery.
  • But Not Too Foreign: Although Milo's grandma's maiden name is not revealed in the show, it's implied that Milo's mom is Japanese-descent based on the Hinomaru shirt that she wore as a kid.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Milo and his younger-self dad uses a fake worm to get the bird out of the tree for Milo's younger-self mom. Although it originally worked, the bird got scared by the crossing guard's bulldog causing to return to the tree, but this time more higher than before.
    • Milo then uses a trampoline to bounce up to the tree to retrieve the bird which didn't work for Milo, but does work with his younger-self mother as she jumped more higher than him. However, the bird flies away after hearing a sound coming from a triangle for lunchtime, which the bird eventually landed on baby Tildie's hands.
    • Milo then uses a baby distractor to distract the baby to retrieve the bird back which actually worked this time. Unfortunately, a monkey stole the distractor away from Milo which although he thought that nothing bad will happen without the distractor once they return to the future, it causes Milo to switch at birth with the Warrior Monkey.
    • To retrieve the baby distractor back from the Warrior Monkey to get his life back from him, Milo uses his extendo-grabber to take the distractor away from the monkey to give it to his baby self. Unfortunately, the Warrior Monkey and Milo switched cribs after the monkey kicks him to his crib and still retrieves the distractor.
  • Embarrassing Old Photo: Milo's family was showing off their old baby pictures of Milo from their album, much to his embarrassment.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" to tell his and the Warrior Monkey's parents the whole embarrassing story of his baby pictures. While they were distracted, Lizbeth switches Milo and the Warrior Monkey's cribs to the correct ones, averting the switch. Unfortunately even with switching to the correct cribs, the Warrior Monkey stills has the distractor.
  • Nerd Glasses: Milo's younger-self dad wears them when he was a kid.
  • Sudden Downer Ending: Since Milo didn't get the distractor back from the Warrior Monkey after switching to their correct cribs back in the past to get his life back, just when it seems like that everything will be back to normal even without it, the episode ends with the Warrior Monkey still having the distractor while riding a bus and all of the passengers are all monkeys now, causing a massive change in the timeline as a result of this.
  • Switched at Birth: After a monkey steals the baby distractor from Milo back in 1980, it causes him to switch at birth with the Warrior Monkey once they returned back to the future.
Lizbeth: I can't believe it. The Warrior Monkey stole your life!
Milo: They say that when you go back in time, one tiny change can alter history. We must have changed something by accident. Look at him! He's living in my room with my Quantum Vigilante stuff!
  • Time Machine: Milo decides to use the time machine that he got from the back of a comic book to put together his family tree project himself as his parents were only interested on looking on old baby pictures, so he travels him and Lizbeth back in time to 1980 to put together his family tree.
