- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: When confronting Ben and Gwen on the Rustbucket, Kevin lists three transgressions that cause him to see them as enemies: trying to help Argit, attempting to stop him, and...stealing his car. Gwen denying doing the latter is what causes Kevin to pick up a box and try smashing her face in.
- Bittersweet Ending: Everyone who appeared in this episode survives, Argit gets rightfully arrested for assaulting two cadets, but Ultimate Kevin is still at large. While Gwen believes they can still save Kevin, Ben has his doubts.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Octagon and Rhomboid state that if they drop out of the Plumbers Academy, their dad will have them whacked. Again.
- Everyone Has Standards: Though Gwen is not overly fond of Argit for his sleazy behavior and tendency to rip Kevin off at any given moment, she's utterly horrified when Ultimate Kevin completely trashes him to the point of unconsciousness.
- Evil Parents Want Good Kids: Pa Vreedle has Argit kidnapped in the opening; stating that he's being sent to the Plumbers Academy in order to hack into the system to change his sons' failing grades: having signed the dimwitted brothers up to become Plumbers so they could have a much better life than he had.
- Heel–Face Turn: In this episode, we see that the Vreedle Brothers are currently attending Plumbers Academy and don't seem to have malicious intentions.
- Forgot About His Powers: While chasing Ben, Gwen and Argit in the new Rustbucket, Kevin flies up to the hull and begins crashing against it in an attempt to break in. He completely forgets that one of the aliens he's absorbed from the Ultimatrix has the ability to phase through solid matter, something Ben is quick to lampshade:Ben: Doofus! You have the powers of a ghost, come in already!
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After barely surviving an encounter with him by the skin of his teeth, Argit is so terrified of Ultimate Kevin that he actively seeks out Ben and Gwen, and outright begs them to throw him in prison, just so that he'll be safe from his Evil Former Friend. Of course, he's quick to start his conniving behavior back up once he gets to the Plumbers' Academy, but his terror of Kevin, a man who he normally has no problems with ripping off every other Sunday, is very real.
- Pay Evil unto Evil: Ultimate Kevin targets Argit mainly for all of the latter's double-crossing.Kevin: I'm tired of your tricks, Argit!Argit: Then maybe you should take a nap!Kevin: See? That's what I'm talking about! Always betraying me! Always doube-crossing me! This is the last time, Argit!
- Pet the Dog: Even if he lost most of his sanity, Ultimate Kevin surprisingly spares Gwen and leaves everyone else alone. Though part of it is because he believes he killed Argit, he also still does hold feelings for Gwen deep down, even if he tries to repress them.Kevin: The only reason you're alive is because of what you used to mean to me.
- Playing Possum: Argit does this so that Ultimate Kevin can leave with the thought of his former friend being actually dead. Gwen and Coronach were convinced that he died, but Ben sees right through the ruse and wakes him up.
- Sadist: Unlike when he was targeting Aggregor and Warden Morgg, Kevin seems to be outright enjoying himself when he attempts to kill Argit, sporting a deranged grin as opposed to his usual Death Glare.Argit: Kev! Cut me some slack, would ya?! R-r-remember all the good times we had?Kevin: (grinning maniacally) No. But I am gonna remember this! (beats down Argit)
- Slasher Smile: When encountering Argit, Kevin has a sick grin on his face when he lets him know of his plans to get back at anyone who wronged him...which includes Argit himself.
- Tears of Fear: Gwen starts quietly crying after being beaten down by Kevin and gets within inches of dying by his hand. It's enough to get Kevin to back down just this once.
- Too Dumb to Live: The Vreedle Brothers literally throw a nuclear fusion grenade at Ultimate Kevin inside the academy, unaware that it'll kill everyone, including themselves. Fortunately, it was prevented by Ben as Ultimate Echo Echo, but it's no wonder why the Vreedle Brothers get bad grades. Argit even mentions they can't get their own name right.
- Villain Has a Point: Ultimate Kevin's goal to enact revenge on Argit for constantly backstabbing him whenever the opportunity presents itself isn't entirely unjustified, though the fact that he's intent on murdering him in cold blood shows he's taking it way too far.
