When Aladdin and the gang accompany Iago to Gezistan to hit up some gambling hotspots, they're confronted with a strange site- a city that gets destroyed every night by a giant pink dancing rhino, only to be built again in the morning by a crowd of imps! Can Aladdin figure out what's really going on in this strange city?
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Actually Quite Catchy: When Aladdin and his friends starts to rock 'n' roll the imp band joins in.
- Bankruptcy Barrel: A featherless Iago is seen wearing one at the end of the episode.
- Big "NO!":
- Nefir's reaction when the magic dance shoes starts to overheating and explode.
- Iago give this reaction when he begs the dancing giant(s) not to crush his favorite casino.
- Did We Just Have Tea with Cthulhu?: Genie finds Samir's lair, goes in... and ends up having a pleasant conversation with him over tea, as he's really a nice guy whose "rampages" are caused by magic dancing shoes he's wearing.
- "Eureka!" Moment: While doing a spinning Cossack dance, Genie finds out the flaw to destroy the magic dance shoes and when calling to Aladdin to play faster, Aladdin quickly catches on.
- Hawaiian-Shirted Tourist: At the end of the episode Genie and Abu are dressed like this.
- Involuntary Dance: Samir, and later Genie, are forced to dance all over Gezistan by the magic shoes Nefir put on their feet.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: The imp band joining Aladdin's rock session makes it easier to overheat the magic dance shoes.
- Oh, Crap!:
- When the heroes see Samir, a giant dancing rhino.
- Genie's reaction when Nefir smugly point on his feet which wear magic dance shoes.
- When the heroes see a giant Genie dancing along with Samir.
- Rhino Rampage: Samir resembles a giant rhino and causes a lot of collateral damage. Contrary to most depictions of his species, he's actually quite chummy.
- Ridiculously Fast Construction: Imps are able to rebuild any destroyed building in seconds.
- Running Gag: Nefir's minions bumping into each other and falling to the ground.
- Smelly Feet Gag: Samir shows his magic dance shoes in front of Genie's face who gags and turns green.
- Stock Punishment: Nefir and his imps traps Genie in a genie-safe pillory before putting on magic dance shoes.
- Underestimating Badassery: Genie thinks taking down Samir the Destroyer will be easy, but then he appears and Genie realizes he was thinking of Ned the Destroyer; "They're basically the same, only Ned isn't nearly as large."
- Unwitting Pawn: Samir, and later Genie, are controlled by magic dance shoes that forces them to dance while destroying Gezistan.
