Kids, you might want to stay away from Barney...
Being the Spiritual Successor of the SCP Foundation, it's no surprise that the RPC Authority also has its own amount of nightmare-inducing stuff.

Like with SCP, please remember that Weblinks Are Not Examples.

RPC Files:

  • RPC-010-2, "Ms. Jackson", is easily one of the most terrifying examples of Evil Teacher ever created: she keeps a total of 31 students trapped inside her classroom, where she continuously tortures them in a variety of ways, ranging from reading them stories with vile themes (such as rape and murder) to killing them.
    • The worst part is that if she does end up killing them, she can just use an item called "the Happy Box" to revive them, meaning the poor kids' torture just has no end.
    • As if she wasn't already bad enough, she once did something so horrible to one of her students that an Authority researcher requested immediate transfer to another site. Just, what the Hell did she do to have an Authority researcher react this way?
  • RPC-042, "the Screeching Cries", is a tall blind Humanoid Abomination that attacks anything emitting sounds. And it's even currently uncontained.
  • RPC-082 is a species of creatures that mimic the appearance of the popular character Barney the Dinosaur (albeit in a bootle and creepy way, as pictured above). These creatures hunt exclusively children and will strangle them till they pass out to then bring them to a hive where they'll be "impregnated" with an egg, for the "baby" to eventually come out in a Chestbuster-like way.
  • RPC-142, "Reanimator", is already scary for being a Serial Killer and Serial Rapist with a deep hatred for women and no humanity, but the fact that if killed he will just reappear somewhere else makes him absolutely terrifying since there's no way to know where he will appear next if killed.
    • The worst thing however is that RPC-142 managed to escape the RPC Authority, meaning he's currently out there, free to commit his crimes.

Other:

    General
  • Like with SCP, the premise itself is pretty terrifying: living in a world with such a big variety of anomalies, with some being dangerous enough to be able to cause The End of the World as We Know It.
  • The CSD Personnel are the RPC Authority's equivalent of the SCP Foundation's D-Class, and while the Authority is more interested in their safety compared to their spiritual predecessor, it doesn't change that they're still people who are effectively forced to be used as test subjects for potentially dangerous anomalies.

    Groups and Agencies of Interest
  • Kabushiki Kawaii manages to add some Realism-Induced Horror: they're a company specializing in creating anomalous humanoids, many of whom are sold to human traffickers as sex slaves.

    Cosmic Embers
  • While the premise of the main canon is already pretty terrifying, Cosmic Embers' isn't much better: Earth has been destroyed and what remains of humanity is now forced to live in space, which is also full of dangers and anomalies.
    • As if that wasn't enough, many aliens don't like humans, who have to continuously be careful to how they act around their galactic "roommates" to not risk angering them and giving them an excuse to exterminate their species.
