”HUUUUUUUUUH?!”

Zoobles has plenty of funny moments, from the anime to the DS game.

The Anime

    In general
  • Several moments in the anime will some of the Zoobles go “HUH?!” if something that someone says shocks them.
    • And pretty much every scene a Zooble overreacts.
  • Kumanpa. Just Kumanpa. He may be a wise old god who can control the weather but he doesn’t take himself too seriously, and loves to do silly dances and make up a lot of puzzling riddles for the trio to decipher, no matter how nonsensical they seem.
  • The Running Gag throughout the anime that the featured Zooble(s) just doesn’t seem to learn from their mistakes at the end.

    Dancing Zoobles!
  • Panky freaking out behind Chevy and then trembling in his ball form when she meets the Black Candies for the first time.
  • Blacky overreacting when Chevy blows a kiss to him.
  • During the training montage for the dance competition the next day, Chevy is doing well on it while Coron and Panky are visibly struggling to keep up.
    • Panky rapidly moving his feet to lift himself up on the bar especially.

    Mirror, Mirror
  • Throughout the episode, Maron does a reenactment of the classic fairytale Snow White.
    • Maron pretending to die from eating an apple as if it were poisonous, especially with her over-the-top fake gagging.
  • Every time a Zooble tries finding a way to wake Maron up.
    • Chevy and Coron making Panky kiss Maron in order to get her to wake up.
    • Once the trio get Reel to help with waking Maron up, they convince him that he is a prince (which he gets very ecstatic about). He ends up being the second Zooble to kiss Maron.
    • Blacky and Mikey throwing Maron to a tree to get her to wake up, which works. However, she of course does not take it lightly.

    Here Comes Su-Su!
  • Su-Su making everything flip upside-down with his magic, from playground equipment to Panky’s own Happitat, while he’s happily bouncing around on his head.
    • During his upside-down mayhem, he even ends up making Panky bounce around on his head too!
  • The trio pursuing Su-Su in their ball forms while he continues to rapidly bounce on his head. Then, Chevy kicks him to a tree, winding him.
  • While Su-Su was busy flipping hourglasses, he then flips Panky upside-down… again.

    Break Up, It’s Over!
  • Literally the entire episode. Just Chevy, Coron, and Panky arguing for more than they should be.
    • Even Coron, the mediator of the group, joins in on the argument!
  • The trio just repeating the word “idiot” to each other's faces over twenty times. Just comes to show how foolish they all look as their argument devolves into silly name-calling.

    Operation: Blind Date!
  • Pom being himself at the blind date of Frappe with Em.
    • Pom brings a guitar to play… but turns out he can’t play it himself.
    • He takes the heart-shaped cookie Randy was meaning to give to Em and breaks it in half, giving one half to Em and both of them eat it up. Given that Randy put secret messages in the cookies she gave to the other Zoobles (a heart-shaped one to Em to confess her love to him and skull-shaped ones for Chevy and her friends as a way to say “screw you for taking away my Em” to them), this adds more fuel to Randy’s short fuse.
    • Pom mistaking Randy’s uncomfortable look for her needing to use the bathroom.

    PiPi’s Tail Accessories
  • PiPi using a lot of Gratuitous English words in her speech.
  • PiPi making Chevy a shoddily-made tail accessory. The over-exaggerated closeups especially make it out as if it was very ugly.
  • After Chevy steals PiPi’s tail accessory so that she could show it to the Black Candies, she ends up losing it somewhere. When she arrives to show them, she doesn’t realize that she lost it until she turns her back.
  • The closeup of PiPi’s accessory that was fixed (albeit not as well) by Chevy.

    Panky the Punk
  • Panky being frightened of a mere tree nut to the point he runs out of the jungle to hide in a bush.
  • The Black Candies freak out two times when Panky tells them he wants to be a part of their group.
  • Cooper gets carried away with giving Panky merchandise of the Black Candies once he is accepted into her group.
  • Both times when Panky joins the Black Candies with doing their signature intro, he adds “da-mon” at the end. This makes the other three Face Fault.

    The Black Candies’ Revenge
  • Several moments of the Black Candies’ first plan to take revenge on Chevy.
    • Blacky and his posse plan to set banana peels out for Chevy to slip over in order to embarrass her as a form of revenge. They end up having to eat nearly all of the bananas, resulting in all of them getting Balloon Bellies.
    • They even get Pom of all Zoobles to help eat the rest of the bananas while they go into a Food Coma. Guess what he did? He ended up sharing all of the bananas with the other Zoobles, including the main trio themselves!
    • And it just gets even funnier: as soon as Blacky finds the trio blending the leftover banana peels into fertilizer, he ends up slipping on a banana peel himself!
  • As part of the second plan, the Black Candies pretend they’ve been injured by a monster, and the way they describe it (a pink-furred creature that sticks its tongue out to greet people) ends up making Chevy laugh instead of being scared. Even the monster in Chevy’s Imagine Spot ends up being funny and cute at the same time!
  • Blacky kicking Chevy like a ball near the end of the episode to try and send her back home.
  • A Big Ball of Violence ensues as soon as Chevy and the Black Candies argue about giving the Black Candies more respect. Turns out Kumanpa’s advice about people changing wasn’t helpful after all…

    The Hero Returns
  • The trio summons Kumanpa when they are trying to figure out how to deal with the comic book monster on the loose. However, just as Kumanpa catches sight of it, he gets frightened to the point he leaves without giving the trio any advice. Think about it: a monster out of a comic ends up scaring Kumanpa himself.

    The Mysterious Thief Zooble
  • Mato face planting every time she jumps off of a high platform after she steals something.

    Riding on a Bubble
  • When the trio don’t know how to get Winny’s bubble machine to stop producing bubbles and to save other Zoobles that were trapped in them, they summon Kumanpa. Once Kumanpa lands, he ends up breaking the machine. This makes the Zoobles laugh, and Kumanpa proceeds to ask the Zoobles what problem they have despite being quite winded.

The DS Game

    In general
  • Spin your Zooble around enough times and it becomes dizzy for a few seconds.
  • When a Zooble asks if they would want to visit your Zooble’s Happitat, one of the possible reactions is for that Zooble to roll around the rug if you placed one. Your Zooble will then follow it around the rug for a few seconds.
