Pilot Episode

Full Game

  • As cruel and abusive as Amanda is to Wooly, it can get kind of funny sometimes.
Amanda: I want to get my friend a special treat.
Wooly: Can I get a special treat?
    [beat]
Amanda: I want to get my friend a special treat.
    [Wooly looks away, dejected]
  • When Amanda, asks you to click the bakery to get a treat, her response to clicking the post office is amusing.
  • During the cat scene, if you reply with "no" or anything else other than "yes", she'll have a breakdown over a random kitten you won't help. A KITTEN.
Amanda: [visibly angry] Will you please help the lonely kitten?
    • If you do reply with "yes", she'll instead stare blankly into the screen. Once you complete the puzzle that gives you the second "Everything Rots" tape, the same kitten from before will appear in a cage. Once you agree to help it again, Amanda will stare blankly again, which is how you get the Butcher ending. Sounds like Amanda doesn't actually want you to help this kitten.
  • It's really sad to kill Blab Bot even as he begs you not to, even saying he loves you to try and get you to stop...but then, when you keep trying to dump water on him, he goes a step further and adds that he's in love with you.
Blab Bot: There, I said it.
  • A Black Comedy moment is your introduction to the pause button: you get a message behind Amanda that says to turn on the heat up to its maximum level. You pause the TV and go to do that...and now the oven in the kitchen is on fire and both Wooly and Amanda are panicking over it. Looks like Wooly was right!
  • Minor, but is somewhat humorous in the first "Accidents" tape when Amanda pulls out a pocket watch about 3/4ths as big as her body to say when Wooly got hurt, sorta like she's saying "This is the next puzzle, pay attention!".
  • Some of the reactions you get from Amanda and Wooly whenever you pick the wrong thing or type the wrong prompt can be quite humorous. One example in particular is in the second "Accidents" tape, when Amanda asks what part of Wooly's body is broken. Give enough wrong answers, and an increasingly frustrated Amanda will have the camera shoved right into Wooly's face, making it screamingly obvious what she wants you to pick for an answer.
    • Wooly's reacts accordingly to suddenly getting up close with the camera, looking disoriented and uncomfortable. (And a little bit like he's about to sneeze)
    • One particular wrong answer has Amanda simply rearing her head and sighing, as if to think "Oh for God's sake, here we go again". Making another wrong answer has her smiling at first...and then screaming "WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE?!", before snapping back to her usual 'cheery' self.
  • Amanda's enthusiasm for rotting things in "Everything Rots".
Amanda: We saw so many things today! A rotting sandwich, a rotting tree stump, and silly ol' rotting Mr. Fox!!
    • In a later tape, it opens with her drawing a picture of Mr. Fox's rotting body.
  • At the start of the "What's A Family", Amanda asks the listener to make a sheep noise, mentioning how they sound just like Wooly! Wooly is visibly offended by the whole exchange.
  • The conclusion of the Good Ending. In order to put an end to the chaos, Riley throws a brick through their TV.
  • The last secret tape is a recording of the show "Herd of Mouth". It stars Wooly, sitting at a table and doing absolutely nothing while looking intellectual. At one point he seems to get an idea but then puts his finger down, as if deciding it wasn't worth saying.
  • Of all the terrifying, inappropriate, or downright immoral things Amanda shows and teaches the impressionable young audience, a "concerned parent" in the red tape talking about the show cites an episode where she claims that mommies and daddies aren't always right as what made him prevent his child from watching it any longer.
  • If you try to stick something in the oven that isn't one of the correct puzzle recipes, it spits it back out complete with a burp.
  • The Mood Whiplash ending of the red tape:
[cheerfully] "When we return, we check in with Zappo, the talking gerbil."
