"No one even cares about your dumb tours!"

Fionna and Cake continues to bring the same incredible humor Adventure Time is known for.

As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

    Fionna Campbell
  • DJ Flame breaks up with Fionna over text and to add insult to injury, Cake slaps her phone into the toilet.
  • Fionna turning on the TV only to find out Cheers is being played on every channel.
  • Fionna asks the bus passangers if they don't know what an aquarium is, and one of them actually doesn't somehow, but she just ignores him.
  • "You're bombing, Fi!"
  • Queenie asks for Fionna's uniform back after firing her. Fionna is angry enough to oblige her right then and there, dropping her pants before Queenie stops her.
  • Fionna turns down an offer to join a group of roller skaters by tearing their pamphlet into a million pieces.
Roller Skaters: [while spining around] Ugh, she hurt our feelings real good!
  • Beatrice Butler throws Gary's biscuit and a choux pastry on the floor to see which a rat prefers. The rat actually picks the latter.
  • Ellis' attempt to examine Cake is incredible from start to finish.
Fionna: Where is she gonna go? She's a cat in this sad little city!
Ellis: Lots of places. Midtown, Upper Midtown, Central Midtown.
    Fionna: Downtown?
    Ellis: I'm not familiar.

    Simon Petrikov
  • Simon trying to pass off burning your pants as a 20th century ritual.
  • One of the attendees becomes curious about the objects on Simon's shelf, and after two of them turn out to be phones, another man asks why the one on the bottom (a blow-drier) isn't a phone.
  • To get Simon out his funk, Finn offers to take him on an adventure. He asks if he's sure this will work...and we immediately smashcut, mid sentence, to Simon screaming as he's hung over a pit of spikes while demonic birds attack him.
Finn "Hmm, maybe we should dial it back a bit"
  • TV claiming he likes Fionna and Cake more than Finn and Jake.
  • Simon bumps into a tree while blindfolded. He turns around and asks Finn why he didn't warn him, only to find out Finn is also blindfolded.
    • Finn even wears a blindfold on the journey back.
  • Finn nonchalantly revealing The Heart of The Forest is one of the most dangerous places in Ooo, even saying Huntress Wizard warned never to step foot there, before exclaiming "Well, let's set up camp!"
  • "Hmm, so that's what cowboy tastes like."
  • The entire scene with PB and Marcy at the tattoo shop. Marcy's Healing Factor and Bonnie's gum body make it impossible for them to actually get tattooed, annoying the tattoo artist to no end.

    Cake The Cat
  • The "egg" Finn and Jake are stealing (rescuing?) turns out to be alive.
"Egg": I'm not an egg, I'm just out of shape.
  • Squirrel lists off the benefits of two-way communication such as "debating, respectfully disagreeing, agreeing to disagree, and selling things."
  • Marshall Lee and Ellis P randomly falling asleep while talking to Fionna.
  • The background shops on the markets are all pure gold.
    • There's a shop called "Stuff I Found In Old Wells".
    • "OK Portraits" does sells paintings that are quite beautiful... except they appear to look nothing like their subjects (the "portrait" currently being painted is just a house).
    • There's a bone shop called "Have You Seen My Bones?".
    • There's a shop called "Seeds You Will Like".
    • Apparently, there's a teeth stall, since at one point you can see a barrel labelled "Baby Teeth" next to a bunch of dentures.
    • There's a stall called "My Neighbor's Things". We can speculate where this shopkeeper gets their products.
    • There's a stall called "Yesterday's Prophecies".
    • There's a vegetable stall manned by a living vegetable called "My Finest Offspring".
    • There's a stand managed a living rock called "Firm Handshakes".
  • "What did you to Hotdog Knight #7?"
  • Squirrel tries to help Cake by tossing a magical strawberry to her, but ends up overshooting by a lot.
Squirrel: Well, I'm out of ideas.
  • Fionna makes missing poster not of her lost cat, but for the magical portal she disappeared into.
  • The market people are not happy to see Fionna and Cake reunite, one yelling "NO HAPPY REUNIONS FOR THE CRIMINAL!", and another telling somebody named Timmy to " go get the market bazooka."
  • The whole market fight scene is hilarious. Fionna immediately faceplants when she tries strike somebody. Fionna's enemies look very goofy, all just being sentient objects and foods. A Banana Guard shows up late, and has no idea what's happening. Fionna kills living tea/coffee person by making them spill over. The entire thing is just incredible.
Burger Person: [gets hit by Fionna] OW, MY BUNS!

    Prismo The Wishmaster
  • When Prismo realizes he can’t send Fionna and Cake back inside Simon’s mind, he decides to summon the latter in his realm, while Simon is having a shower, leaving him nude. Funnily enough, Simon is more annoyed rather than embarrassed.
    • Prismo gives Simon his classic blue muumuu to cover himself, but unfortunately he didn’t take underwear into account, causing him to flash his butt after falling down some stairs.
  • As Prismo interrogates Simon about why Fionna and Cake are in the prime universe, the latter acts like a sassy, petulant brat, which makes sense, since Prismo failed to bring Betty back, causing Simon to hold some grudges towards him.
  • While it’s also sad, Simon spending much of Prismo’s exposition about the truth behind the creation Fionna and Cake’s universe, binging cans of beer and just being uncaring about the absurdity of the situation is hilarious.

    Destiny
  • After leading the rest of the Destiny Gang to the crater with the remains of the crown and exposing Jay and Little Destiny's secret love affair, Big Destiny's son assumes he'll be the new favorite...
Big D's Son: See, I told you! She's been doing mouth high fives with our enemies!
Big Destiny: Here is your reward
[Big Destiny unceremoniously kicks his son into the crater]
Big Destiny: FATHER OF THE YEAR!

    The Winter King
  • In Fionna’s world, Gary goes to Fionna’s apartment so they could go shopping and she isn’t responding to his texts. Once he goes in there, he sees how her apartment is very filthy, so much so he believes that she’s been robbed. Then Marshall Lee shows up after he had a shower, and assures him that this is how she lives while Gary freaks out over him.
  • Cake's reaction to the Winter King crowning Simon at the end of his musical number, and Winter King's response.
    Cake: KISS EACH OTHER!!
Winter King: Don't think it hasn't occurred to me!
  • Simon’s response to the Winter King’s coolness and seemingly making everything better:
    Simon: Man, I suck.
  • While Simon is talking about how there's a "brilliant person in there" within the Candy Queen, she's using the Winter King's crown to scratch her butt.
  • While he is sorry about what Winter King did to Bubblegum, Simon mentions he feels kind of vindicated due to the fact that he had been feeling down that he never managed to escape the crown's curse, but Winter King being evil changes the narrative.
  • Among the denizens of Baby World is a baby version of the Lich sitting in a timeout corner.

    The Star
  • Bonnie calls out Fionna for bringing baby Finn into a world filled with vampires, and Fionna defends herself by saying it was an accident. Keep in mind at that point Bonnie didn't know Fionna came from another dimension, so to her Fionna is saying it was an accidental pregnancy.
  • When the Vampire King threatens Cake when she fails to steal his crown, she makes a rather humorous comment about his appearance that ticks him off.
Cake: "You're kind of hot. But you have chicken feet..."

    Jerry
  • Though the episode as a whole has a very somber tone, the implication that the Lich himself interacted with BMO enough for the latter to consider him a friend is darkly hilarious.

    Casper And Nova
  • Simon trying to actually empathize with the Lich of all people, who rants about his devotion to GOLB and no longer having purpose while completely ignoring Simon's presence.
    • The start of that encounter has Simon just run up to the Lich and kick him in the leg. Given the fact it's a normal human doing that to The Lich, it's hilarious in just how ballsy it is.
  • Gary and Marshall having a Spit Take when they see Cake, who is currently Fionna's overalls, talking and changing shape.
  • Simon’s breakdown when he finds his mind stuck in Shermy’s body after GOLBetty transfers his consciousness to stop him from putting on the Ice Crown:
Simon: Betty, why did you send me here? And in this body? (starts pounding his fists into a puddle) Why, why, why?
    • And what makes it even better is Beth’s reaction to Simon’s breakdown:
Beth: Shermy… are you going through puberty?
    • Shermy and Beth run into an odd fellow who speaks in the same mannerism of Choose Goose, named Pawn Swan. Simon, not in the mood, simply tells him to leave them alone. Pawn Swan casually flips him off before flying off into space.
Beth: Something MUST be wrong with you. You LOVE Pawn Swan.
    • And while Simon is controlling Shermy, his body is standing still in front of GOLBetty, still preparing to put on the crown, and speaking the same things he is saying as Shermy.
    • Simon-as-Shermy struggles to open the "Ancient Artifacts" book.
    Beth: That's not how you...
Simon: I know how to read, I have degrees! (*gnaws on the book to force it to open*)

    Cheers
  • After the Scarab finally reforms and blows up Fionna’s apartment, everyone is understandably freaked out, except Gary, who has other worries in his mind.
    Gary: Oh no, he’s hot.
  • When Scarab deletes Fionna's apartment building, someone cries out how Ellis P. was inside... only for it to scroll over to reveal that Ellis P. was the one who said it.
  • By all accounts, GOLBetty forcibly inserting Simons conciousness into Shermy's body against both of their wills last episode should be a traumatizing experience that the young cat boy would need years of therapy to recover from. But then a Freeze-Frame Bonus reveals that Shermy is just chilling on a beanbag chair playing videogames in his headspace. He's not even the slightest bit upset about it when he is freed either.
Shermy: [cheerfully] Hey Beth! I was a prisoner in my own mind!
  • Some of Scarab’s prisoners get freed from their eggs and we learn just what they got imprisoned for: One was just caught playing games on his office computer and another was just swiping office supplies.
  • Fiona gushing about becoming giant after eating the magic strawberries, telling Cake it’s her “top fantasy”.
  • While Simon going through therapy makes for a bittersweet ending, said therapy session ends up being interrupted by the same onlookers as before commenting on its entertainment value, followed by Simon's deadpan "I'm thinking of moving."
  • At the end as Fionna vocally appreciates her "normal world", Baby Finn on the Peppermint Tank rolls by and neither she nor Hunter blinks.
