• "Kyle Lee Watson? What kinda country-ass name is that?"
• Flip, the local homeless crackhead, is a barrel of laughs. Comes with the territory when you're played by Bernie Mac.
  • Bugaloo's description of him as "Daffy Duck with his beak shot off!"
  • When Kyle asks him for some information on Sheppard.
  "What, you lookin' for some dick?"
  • After Kyle roughs him up a bit and Motaw pries him off.
  (to Kyle) "Fuck you with yo' pussy ass! You too, Birdie, ol' pickle-head mothafucka!"
• The Wilson's waitress' unsuccessful attempts at wooing Sheppard.
  "(to Mailika, who just arrived for their date) Don't waste your time, sis. It may look sweet, but it's gone sour."
• Kyle, Bugaloo, and Motaw's car ride is arguably the funniest sequence in the whole film.
  • They come across Sheppard's nightly routine of shadowballing with "Nutso". They are both amused and disturbed.
  Bugaloo: Lookin' like he auditioning for The Twilight Zone, man!
  • Kyle and Bugaloo are clowning around as usual, to which Motaw insists that they take themselves seriously, as they are considered part of Birdie's crew now.
  Bugaloo: He got his period and shit. Yo, I'mma pull over and get you some pads, Mo! Mini or maxi, what you think?
  • Mo spots some of Birdie's dealers.
  Motaw: Pull over. Pull over right here.
  Kyle: Yo, I thought we was going straight to the spot?
  Motaw: Nigga, I said pull over.
  Bugaloo: For what?
  Motaw: PULL OVER!
  (Bugaloo immediately pulls over.)
  • After roughing the dealers up for coming up short..
  Motaw: Did you motherfuckers see that? I'm a motherfuckin' SOLDIER, y'know what I'm sayin'?! Now drive!
  Bugaloo: ..Nigga, you need a role model. A hug, or somethin'.
  • Made even better by Motaw's face, all but implying that Wood Harris is trying his damndest not to corpse.
• Birdie telling Kyle to go to school, because he's late, even mockingly checking his watch.
• Bugaloo attempting to play ball in the most ridiculous getup: a bandana, swimming goggles, a mouthpiece, a baggy windbreaker, all while caking his hands in baby powder "for grip", as he says. Needless to say, he still sucks.
• Though it's a grand display of how much of a Jerkass he really is, Birdie mocking Bugaloo's plan to attend college with Kyle to play ball is pretty funny.
  "College? Nigga, you can barely fuckin' read, how the hell you goin' to college? Is this a fuckin' joke?!"
• Birdie's expression◊ when Kyle refuses to play for his team in the big game.
  "It ain't ovah!"
• When one of his players knees a player on Kyle's team and Coach Rollins rightfully calls a foul, Birdie is less than sympathetic.
  "Man, stop complaining! This here is a man's game, alright?!"
• If you look closely, Jersey #52 actually passes to himself.
• When Birdie sees Shep show up to tag into the game on the downed player's behalf.
  Birdie: (giving the mother of all Oh, Crap! expressions) Hold up, wh-what is this shit?! He ain't in the team!
  Coach Rollins: He's right there, on my original roster!
  Birdie: He ain't even in fuckin' uniform!
  Coach Rollins: (hands Shep a jersey) He is now!
  Birdie: ..He ain't been playin'!
  Referee: It doesn't matter.
  Birdie: This is fuckin' bullshit, man! (knocks the clipboard out of the referee's hands, hitting Coach Rollins in the face) You know this is bullshit!
• Birdie's smug expressions◊ when he thinks he has the game in his pocket. They became memetic for a reason.
• Birdie's temper tantrum when Shep tears up the court and pulls an amazing comeback. He gets so angry he kicks his chair in frustration, hitting the guy standing behind him in the shins.
• Finally, Bugaloo's face when he shoots Birdie dead. In typical Bugaloo fashion, it's a sad attempt at looking intimidating and just looks goofy, though some admit the dark red lighting of the club does make him look a bit scary.
