A 1950 Musical Comedy Directed by Robert Z Leonard that has a mother (Ann Sothern) and her daughter (Jane Powell) competing for a singing role and, unknowingly, the same man (Barry Sullivan).

The movie also stars Carmen Miranda, Louis Calhern, Scotty Beckett, Fortunio Bonanova, Glenn Anders, Nella Walker, Hans Conried, Frank Fontaine, John Goldsworthy, and Michael Raffetto.

It was released on March 10, 1950.

  • Pretty in Mink: In the first scene, Nancy shows up at her mother's closing night at Broadway, and Nancy is wearing a white ermine wrap. Later her mother wears a white mink wrap to a dinner date.
