Choose Love is an interactive Romantic Comedy produced by Netflix using its Branch Manager technology. It was released on August 31, 2023.

The viewer makes choices for Cami Conway (Laura Marano), a talented Los Angeles-based sound engineer with a steady boyfriend, Paul (Scott Michael Foster). Just as she worries about settling down with him, however, two other men come into her life — her socially-minded high school boyfriend Jack (Jordi Webber) and the famous musician Rex Galier (Avan Jogia). The viewer can then decide the trajectory of Cami's love life.

Tropes:

  • Beautiful Singing Voice: Cami used to be in a band, and has the voice to prove it. When Rex hears her singing briefly, he's instantly charmed and asks her to harmonize with him on the album.
  • Beta Couple: Cami's sister Amalia is happily married to her husband, serving as a contrast to and source of advice for Cami's own romantic woes.
  • Betty and Veronica: Paul is the Betty (nice, compatible boyfriend with a steady job) to the protagonist Cami's Archie. The arrival of Veronicas Jack (an activist who offers a life of saving the world together) and Rex (a rock star who offers a glamorous life of making music together throws a wrench into his relationship with Cami, who is now torn between the three men.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Sometimes when it's time to make a choice, Cami will turn to the camera and talk directly to the viewer.
  • Disposable FiancĂ©: Paul is the steady, compatible boyfriend Cami is dating at the beginning of the film. He is a nice guy but pointedly not as exciting of a choice as Rex or Jack, and depending on the viewer's choices, he can be dumped in favor of them.
  • Good News, Bad News: The very first choice the viewer has to make is whether the psychic gives good news or bad news first.
  • Multiple Endings: There are multiple endings that can be achieved depending on the viewer's choices. Though some details differ depending on prior choices, they broadly fall into "Cami ends up with Jack", "Cami ends up with Rex", "Cami ends up with Paul", or "Cami ends up single".
  • The One That Got Away: Cami explicitly describes Jack as "the one that got away". He is her dreamy high school boyfriend whom she broke up with because he went to do something activistic in Guatemala. Now he's back stateside and has apparently never stopped loving her, either...
  • Tarot Motifs: Cami visits a psychic who tells her that she will have three suitors corresponding to The Magician, The Fool, and the Knight of Swords. Cami later associates these cards with Paul, Rex and Jack respectively.
