Liu Hao’s personality and tactical style are obviously very different from Xiao Shiqin’s, but that’s not Fang Xuecai’s only concern: Dai Yanqi is annoyed about He Ming encroaching on her turf as Thunderclap’s Elementalist, Zhu Yu—Thunderclap’s Cleric and most senior member—is thinking about retiring soon, and they have new rookies learning the team dynamic from the ground up. Fang Xuecai is working his hardest to keep Thunderclap running smoothly throughout all the challenges, but Season Nine turns out to be a wilder ride than anyone could have predicted. At least his team is united in their goal: Make it to the top and prove that Xiao Shiqin isn’t the only reason Thunderclap can win.
