Kirby: On The Flipside! By Prominence Flare Is a Kirby Crossover Fanfic between the canon Game Universe and the universe of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, focusing on the idea of the characters of the game universe showing up in the anime universe, and the changes that are caused because of their interference.
The story takes place after the events of Kirby Star Allies with the main four characters of the series ending up in the anime universe due to a failed dimensional portal experiment, and doing what they can to help the citizens of Cappy Town from the ever looming threat of Nightmare.

Kirby: On The Flipside! Provides Examples of:
- 0% Approval Rating: Anime!Dedede obviously, to the point where most of the characters refer to Game!Dedede as “Great King Dedede.”
- Adaptational Badass: As of Chapter 30, seven of the Cappy Town residents have inherit Magical abilities. Tiff and Tuff being two of them.
- Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: Fololo and Falala, originally very close with the Ebrum siblings throughout canon, is later shown to be distant from them as they start learning magic
- Amusement Park of Doom: Chapter 21 focuses on Anime!Dedede building his own, much to Magolor’s chagrin.
- The Big Race: Chapter’s 27-29 focus on the events of “The Kirby Derby” with Susie and Daroach joining the competition.
- Brown Note: Mike Kirby, for both Kirbies, as Game!Kirby explains the ability doesn’t distinguish from Friend or Foe.
- Demonic Possession: In true Dedede fashion, Anime!Dedede gets possessed by a special mask in chapters 34 and 35
- Digging Yourself Deeper: Tiff ends up doing this when trying to defuse Tuff’s deep insult to Fololo and Falala by accidentally agreeing with him
- Green-Eyed Monster: Several later episode plots are started by by Anime!Dedede’s jealously towards the Star Allies and whatever activities they are doing with the townsfolk especially with his game incarnation
- Heel–Face Brainwashing: Gooey uses his Dark Matter powers to do this to Anime!Lovely.
- Helping Would Be Killstealing: In several fights Game!Kirby justifies his and the Star Allies un-involvement with wanting Anime!Kirby to learn and fight on his own
- Mentor Archetype: Game!Kirby to Anime!Kirby as seen in many chapters
- Later on Magolor and Taranza ends up teaching some of the cappies magic fitting into this trope too, although Magolor is a more Downplayed Trickster Mentor
- My God, What Have I Done?: Tiff and Tuff ends up like this in chapter 58 up like this when they badly hurt Fololo’s and Falala’s feelings by bringing up their Dark and Troubled Past
- Mythology Gag: When questioning what to call a plant resulting from Anime!Whispy and Anime!Lovely, Tuff comes up with "Flowery Woods" as an idea, among others. You'd be excused to expect Game!Kirby to mention he met a Flowery Woods once.
- Moment of Weakness: Tuff ends up losing his cool and ends up needling Fololo and Falala trauma of being FoFa in chapter 58 when admit they did know of Anime!Dedede’s borderline deadly pranks and helped set them up to later sabotage themselves rather than tell everyone his plans and their growing distance from himself and Tiff because of their fear of them learning magic and their subsequent insults of said skill.Although he does feel EXTREMELY bad as soon as he says it
- The Reveal: Of what Susie has been making since she came to Anime!Dreamland HER ROYAL EMINENCE: QUEEN KABULA
- The Unintelligible: Anime!Kirby like always, which is a big difference from Game!Kirby who CAN speak.
- Outside-Context Problem: The Star Allies end up becoming this to the anime villains as a whole, being much more skilled, experienced, and powerful than anyone else in the setting.
- Spared By Adaptation: Anime!Lovely, thanks to Gooey using his Dark Matter powers on her.
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: The Anime and Game Dreamlands have this sort of time dilation between their universes, leading to game characters being Put on a Bus for several weeks at a time In-Universe when they are in the Game!Dreamland for a few days
