Don't Fuck with the White Mage
is a Self-Insert Fic of Jujutsu Kaisen made by Silver W. King who is also known for "Returning Welsh Dragon", "The Real, True and Totally Did Happen Chronicles of King Artorias" and "NO CHILL!!" .
It follows a person reincarnated as Utahime Iori who suffers from constant stress of her past life & being a teenager in a world filled with evil curses trying to kill you.
This fic contains examples of the following tropes:
- Achievements in Ignorance: Utahime's ability to learn Reverse Cursed Technique as a teenager, and rapidly improve to the point where she develops Extension Techniques and a Domain, are considered unnatural. She sees it as normal, compared to the powerhouses of the setting.
- Adaptational Badass: The Utahime of this story has used Black Flash at least twice, as well as learned Reverse Cursed Technique to the point where she can apply it at will onto others in order to heal them.
- Mei Mei has gained the ability to fuse multiple birds together to create a monster called Birdman.
- Bait-and-Switch: The Tokyo and Kyoto Goodwill Event is hyped up for several chapters, only to be cancelled due to a cult's mass suicide which creates ten Special Grade Curses that every Sorceror in Japan is sent to fight.
- Battle of the Bands: Utahime has one against Principal Gakuganji to improve her control of cursed energy with Binding Vows.
- Brick Joke: When bribing Mei Mei to go all out Utahime agrees to pay her 1,000,000 yen, later upping it to 3,000,000. The next chapter when Utahime is training, she's angrily shouting how it was meant to be 3, not 4.
- When meeting Geto and Shoko for the first time, their attempts to tease her just causes her to stare at them like insects. Later when Gojo is acting sheepish with her, she gives him the exact same stare.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: During training, Utahime is usually on the receiving end of this due to her Binding Vows, but after her enlightenment she dishes several out against powerful enemies.
- The Ubume is annihilated instantly along with all the other spirits when she has an epiphany and unlocks her Domain Expansion.
- She easily catches a sniper rifle bullet from an assassin, negates his Cursed Technique of launching objects at her, then quickly defeats the Special Grade of the Suicide Forest Aokigahara, Arati, with Mei Mei's assistance.
- Immediately following her apotheosis, Goblin Maker, Colony, and Rust Cloth are wiped out by her, solo, with the former two exorcised completely and the third crippled.
- Domain Holder: Utahime's Bestowing Kagura, which is a Torii Gate on a sea sky surrounded by mists or sunlight.
- Magic Dance: At first, it's a necessity for Utahime to get the best result for her Cursed Technique, but she doesn't use it until her final cursed music battle with Principal Gakuganji.
- Mind over Matter: Utahime's Will-o-Wisp technique and fine control over cursed energy which uses for offense, defense, controlling weapons, and even flight.
- No-Sell: Utahime's Cursed Technique Reversal Gathering Hallowed Belt allows her to instant kill Cursed Spirits and neutralize most techniques.
- Original Character: Several, but two of the more notable characters are: Gojo Tanaka (Satoru's cousin and one of Utahime's first teammates) and Zen'in Mana (Naoya's half-sister).
