Quirk: Fire Breath
Izuku's father and Inko's wife. He works for the HPSC and is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill its goals.- Abusive Parents: Of the neglectful and gaslighting variety. He leaves his family after finding out that Izuku is Quirkless and manipulates Inko as a means to further the HPSC's goals.
- Adaptational Villainy: Hisashi has remained as The Ghost for the majority of the canon series. Here, he's a member of the immoral Hero Public Safety Commission and willing to do anything to further its goals, including striking a deal with and funding Garaki.
- Even Evil Has Standards:
- While Hisashi has no parental love for Izuku, he wasn't happy when he learns that Garaki attempted to do an experiment on him.
- He's not at all tolerant of working with Garaki as he finds the man to be way too twisted and sees his methods as completely inhuman.
- Parental Abandonment: Leaves his family after learning that Izuku is Quirkless.
- The Needs of the Many: Hisashi uses this reason to justify what he does for the HPSC as he finds idealistic heroes like All Might to be outdated.

Izuku's former best friend. Known for it's explosive temper and superiority complex, Katsuki believes he's destined to be the next Number One Hero.- Adaptational Jerkass: In canon, Katsuki started off as a massive Jerkass with an enormous ego, but his time and experiences in U.A. have humbled him to the point that he's willing to put his pride aside and work with others. Here, since he doesn't enter U.A., he doesn't go through any of his Character Development and remains a complete asshole through and through.
- Barbaric Bully: He has bullied Izuku for ten years straight due to him being Quirkless and "looking down on him". Even after the two meet again at the Provisional Licence Exam, he is still the same as always.
- Hate Sink: He is portrayed as completely unlikeable here. He shows absolutely no remorse whatsoever for his actions against Izuku, looks down on everyone and gives them horrible names, and is a straight-up Grade A Jerkass of the highest order.
- Having a Blast: His Quirk, Explosion, lets him create powerful explosives from the nitroglycerin sweat secreted from the palms of his hands.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: His obsession with Izuku cost him the Provisional Licence Exam as he was too focused on finding his former victim rather focusing on the task at hand.
- Spiteful Spit: Spits on Izuku when the green-haired boy is on the ground injured from his surprise attack during the Provisional Licence Exam.
