The Main Cast

    Arvo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arvo.png
The protagonist and player character, a Finnish tiger studying cognitive science.
  • Coming-Out Story: He isn't publicly out at the start of the story. How and who he comes out to is determined by the route you take.
  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: His name can be changed to your liking if you wish.
  • Likes Older Men: He comes to the realisation in the Devon route that him, at 19, seems to have a preference for much older men. This doesn't apply across all of his love interests, but it does to varying extents go for Devon (29), Rune (23) and Torulf (27).
    Coach Devon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/devon.png
A panther hailing from Ohio in the United States, having recently moved to Norway to take up a PE coaching job.
  • Coming-Out Story: Rune and, in his own route, Arvo are the only people in Norway he has come out to. A major theme of his route is him and Arvo bonding over their shared experience in this regard.
  • Half-Breed Discrimination: He is 1/4th tiger, something he mentions as having caused issues with discrimination at home.
  • Hot Teacher: A young and athletic PE coach that both Rune and Arvo fall for.
  • Teacher/Student Romance: The age difference between him and Rune/Arvo are much less than with typical examples of this trope, but the power dynamic is still present. His route revolves around him and Arvo trying to navigate their feelings and shared commonalities regarding being closeted gay men together, with the potential power imbalance playing a big part of it.
    Mikko
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mikko.png
A wolf and a childhood friend of Arvo.
    Bjørn
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bjorn_1.png
A bear studying neuroscience.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": "Bjørn" in its various forms simply means "Bear".
  • Erudite Stoner: Via tobacco hookah rather than cannabis, but the vibe is still there.
  • If It's You, It's Okay: Admits that he actually hasn't given his sexuality much thought, but is happy to have casual sex with Arvo under the influence of alcohol in his route, and it of course turns into a more serious relationship afterwards regardless of whether that happened or not.
    Lake
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lake.png
A Finnish lion, and a dormmate of Arvo.
    Rune
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rune_8.png
A deer.
  • Break the Haughty: He isn't unsympathetic pre-character development, but his pride takes a huge hit once he starts to fail at his various sporting and academic ambitions.
  • Lovable Jock: A member of the basketball team and an all-rounder A-grade student.
  • The Workaholic: He is sociable and a talented athlete, science student and musician, and on top of that is also constantly thinking about all the new things he could be trying. The core conflict of his route is that this balancing act eventually crashes down on him when he is benched as a starter on the basketball team and loses out on a scholarship to study in Japan.
    Torulf
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/torulf.png
A promiscuous tiger, and a friend of Lake.
  • Age Insecurity: At 27, he shows an insecurity about approaching his 30's. His outward-facing behaviour is driven by a desire to keep chasing his youth, and part of his attraction to Arvo comes from seeing a younger version of himself in him, and wanting to live vicariously through him.
  • Extreme Libido: Is by far the horniest of the main cast. He immediately makes an advance on Arvo upon meeting on top of being implied to have a casual relationship with Lake, and if reciprocate he offers the earliest and most frequent set of sex scenes in the game. This part of his character gets played far more seriously than it first seems, with his promiscuity bringing plenty of emotional baggage with it, and his route demonstrates isn't shy about how alienating and toxic a sex-focused relationship is capable of being.
    Jørgen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jorgen_1.png
A bat with an anarchic streak. He is a good friend of Lake, and an ex of Klaus.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: His introduction paints him as a nerdy introvert, but getting to know him, reveals that he has quite the anarchic streak and is very personable within his friendship group.
  • Opaque Nerd Glasses: He wears a pair of very large, round glasses. It both fits his geeky tendencies towards the punk subculture, and is also a reference to bats being known for having poor eyesight.
  • Straight Edge: Does not drink alcohol, and is also vegan. Doubles as a minor Furry Reminder for being a fruitbat.
  • Trans Tribulations: Though not the focus of his route, his estrangement from his family for being a trans man is a clear emotional low point for him.
    Klaus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/klaus_00.png
A mysterious cat.

Other Characters

    Travis
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/travis_5.png
A tanuki.
  • Gone Horribly Right: The plan to steal Arvo's room key was with the hope that it would cause him to stay the night with Mikko and rekindle their relationship. That can happen of course, but choosing to bunk with someone else will result in Arvo falling in love with them instead, and in the worst case scenario like in Torulf's route it will irreparably destroy any chance of Arvo and Mikko remaining friends. Even on Mikko's route, there is still a way for things to go wrong.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He was responsible for Arvo's room key going missing, kicking off the quest to find someone else to stay with and the romance that follows.
