Kiriko Katsukami
An awkward and withdrawn second-year student at Sekien Academy who desperately wishes for love and popularity. She reasons she can accomplish these dreams by hiring Goetia, and serves as the mastermind behind the Ema Schoolgirl Murders.
- Beware the Nice Ones: No one suspects Kiriko as the murderer, as she's literally the last person anyone would suspect.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Comes off as a smart, yet socially-inept high school girl. In reality she's the mastermind behind several murders.
- Deal with the Devil: Summoned Goetia after learning from their existence from a fortune teller, signing a contract with the Poachers Shuten and Kuchisake to help kill her rivals.
- Entitled to Have You: She believes she's destined to fall in love with Hideki, just like in an anime. Kiriko however is willing to use any means to make her delusions a reality.
- Love Makes You Evil: Kiriko's desire to have Hideki fall in love with her made the girl resort to summoning demons to kill her rivals.
- Murder the Hypotenuse: Her entire plan to win the heart of Hideki. She believes that her manga stories mirror reality, so the popular jock will only like the popular girls at school. Since she can't get popular herself, she resorts to having any competition killed off.
- Nerds Are Sexy: Despite her nerdy demeanor and otaku status, she's not that bad looking at all from the way people describe her.
- Never My Fault: Kiriko's excuse, as she only tells Shuten and Kuchisake who to kill. She never takes a life herself.
- Otaku: A rare female example, being a huge fan of anime; especially Kero Ball.
- Stalker with a Crush: Stalks the lead basketball player at Sekien Academy, wishing to capture his heart.
- The Dog Was the Mastermind: The person behind the Ema City murders turns out not to be a serial killer or demon, but an awkward high-schooler that just wanted to get her crush's attention. The way she does this is by ordering the deaths of the most popular girls at her school to give her a better shot.
