The Usean Allied Forces - UAF (1997 - 1998)
After the rebellion was defeated following a year of heavy fighting, the alliance was disbanded and the Osean Federation decided not to pursue an alliance with any of the Usean nations.
- The Alliance: A continental example.
- Enemy Mine: It's stated that most of the Usean nations don't get along and constantly fought over territorial disputes and the like, yet they find the Osean Federation and the Union of Yuktobanian Republics to be the bigger threat to their sovereignty.

The Allied Forces - The Allies (1995)

An alliance formed to fight against the Belkan Federation when they invaded their neighbors in an attempt to reclaim their former territories in 1995, sparking the conflict that would become known as the Belkan War. Comprised of the Osean Federation, the Kingdom of Sapin, the Republic of Ustio and the Union of Yuktobanian Republics plus other smaller nations.
Shorty after the Belkan War ended, various pilots and infantrymen deserted the Allies to form the terrorist organization; A World With No Boundaries, and launched synchonized attacks across the Osean continent as vengance for the atrocities committed by the Allies and Belka. They were eventually defeated in Avalon Dam (Belka) during an attempt to launch nuclear missiles at major cities across the world.
Sometime after the Battle of Avalon Dam, the Allied Forces fully disbanded.
- Fantasy Counterpart Culture: Of the Allied forces during World War II.
- Kick the Dog: Once the tables turned against Belka, the Allies ruthlessly bombed the Belkan city of Hoffnung, civilians and non-combatant military personel included. Pixy downright says that the Allies have wanted to hurt Belka for decades and finally had the chance.
The Independent States Allied Forces - ISAF (2003 - 2006)

An alliance formed by the Federation of Central Usea to fight against the Federal Republic of Erusea when they invaded and occupied the small nation of San Salvacion in 2003 in retribution for harsh economic and political sanctions following the Ulysses asteroid’s devastation of the continent and Erusea’s actions during the subsequent refugee crisis. In 2004, Erusea would eventually invade and occupy most of the continent and it would take a year for the ISAF to defeat Erusea.
After the formal surrender of Erusea in 2005 and a short rebellion in 2006, the ISAF would reduce their armed forces and eventually disband, leaving the reformed-IUN to take its place in keeping the peace.
- Back from the Brink: In just a few weeks of fighting Erusea, they were forced to abandon all of their continental bases and retreat all of their remaining forces to the island nation of North Point. There they were able to plan a counter attack spearheaded by Mobius Squadron and reclaim the continent in a year-long campaign.
- Fantasy Counterpart Culture: Of the North Atlantic Organization Treaty a.k.a NATO, even having a similar flag.
The International Union Peace Keeping Forces - IUN-PKF (Formed during the 90s, current iteration formed in 2016 - disolved sometime before 2030)
In 2019, the newly-reformed Kingdom of Erusea declared war on the IUN over the construction of the International Space Elevator in Selatapura, which Erusea regarded as an attempt by Osea to assert political and economic control over Usea, and invaded the Usean members of the IUN using the Osean-built Arsenal Birds. After months of heavy fighting, the IUN defeated Erusea but were left heavily weakened due to the collapse of the global satellite network in the final days of the war.
- Doomed Predecessor: They are this to the Neo-United Nations from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere as the IUN will eventually collapse sometime before 2030, leading to big multinational corporations to take over most of the world.
- Fantasy Counterpart Culture: Of the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces.
- Remember the New Guy?: Subverted. The alliance was introduced in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown but supplementary materials has stated that the IUN has existed since the 1990s.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: They disappear from the story of Ace Combat 7 after the first act and are never mentioned again.
The Neo-United Nations - NUN (Formed sometime before 2030 - current status unknown)
Project ACES later renamed the faction into the Neo-International Union after the release of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
- La Résistance: They are a union of the few nations not controlled by either Neucom or General Resource.
- Oddly Small Organization: It's stated that just a few large nations with functioning armies are members of the organization.
- Retcon: In a 25th Anniversary poster featuring Ace Combat 3's aircrafts, all the NUN emblems were replaced by IUN emblems, meaning that the Neo-United Nations in its original form is no longer canon because of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown's contributions to the setting.
Other Organizations
The Grey Men
A secret cabal of Belkan and North Osean politicians and industrialists that formed sometime after the Belkan War.They were responsible for the Circum-Pacific War by tricking Yuktobania into attacking Osea's military bases in Western Osea. Their true motives were to avenge their fallen nation and to reunify North Osea (formerly South Belka) with Belka in order to restore the nation to its former glory.
- Nebulous Evil Organisation: They had been infiltrating and sabotaging Osea since the end of the Belkan War and nobody knew of their existence until after the Circum-Pacific War ended.
Usean Rebel Forces/USEA Unified
An alliance of various Usean ultra-conservative factions formed in 1997 to prevent the signing of a treaty that would allow the Osean Federation to establish a military presence in the Usean continent, and to force the unification of the continent into a single nation.They were defeated in September 1998 at Fort Intolerance, North Point.
- Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: While they claimed they rebelled to prevent the Osean Federation from influencing the continent's politics, steal their natural resources and for the Allied Forces' poor treatment of their soldiers, it's noted that they had been targeting civilian targets and we're willing to start an intercontinental war just to escape the continent once they lost their headquarters.
- Renegade Splinter Faction: They are mostly composed of deserters from the Usean Allied Forces.
Free Erusea
A paramilitary faction that formed sometime after the defeat of Erusea in the Usean Continental War (2003 - 2005) to oppose the ISAF-observed interim government of Erusea and to restore the nationalist military regime.A second (possibly unrelated) group with the same name appeared in 2014 to oppose the IUN's presence in the continent. Despite Mobius 1's efforts, it appears he couldn't destroy them for good, as they are mentioned to be among the radical groups active in the ranks of Erusean military prior to the Lighthouse War.
- Joker Immunity: One of the few enemy factions that just doesn't seem to give up: it was defeated in 2006, only to resurface in 2014. While it was supposedly defeated once and for all the second time, turns out it still had influence in the Erusean military and has since reestabilished itself for the third time during the Erusean civil war. Only time will tell if they will ever be put down permanently.
- Renegade Splinter Faction: The group is composed of disgrunted Erusian officers and pilots.
A World with no Boundaries
A terrorist organization formed shortly after the Belkan War, composed of disillusioned soldiers and pilots from across the Osean continent with the objective to "rid the world of borders and petty wars".- Bomb-Throwing Anarchists: They believe that governments and borders are the cause of endless wars, so their (supposed) objective is to topple as many governments as possible.
- Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: Many members of the group admit that they only joined just to cause death and destruction on the nations they dislike and/or to escape persecution for war crimes during the Belkan War.
- Renegade Splinter Faction: They started as a group of disillusioned Belkan pilots that were eventually joined by foreign pilots and infantry.
- The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized: They will do anything to fulfil their objective, no matter how many innocents have to die in the process.
