Awesome Music / FRIDAY NIGHT THE 13TH

Go To

  • The menu music is a smooth but chilling rendition of the "Cabin" theme from the Friday the 13th NES game, which is an already beautiful but suspenseful piece from a bad game. The pause music is also a rendition of the "Cabin" theme.
  • "The Chase". You know a Friday the 13th song's gonna be good when it starts with Jason's iconic sound effect that informs you he's near, which is exactly what's happening in the mod. And this same sound keeps playing to the beat of the song while the already unnerving melody slowly goes hard with the addition of the drum set and the organ.
  • "Bastard Rush" plays when the couple finally meet Jason, and boy what a banger! The song perfectly pictures the uneasiness of Boyfriend and Girlfriend and the losing battle they have against a Nigh-Invulnerable hulking man like Jason. It's a mysterious yet aggressive song resulting from the melodic piano and the rocking electric guitar and the drums.
  • The action starts when the couple are running away from Jason in "Death In The Corner", and the fast pace, the rapid vocal notes and the instrumental really shows that up. The music also amps up the creepy factor by adding the screams of Jason's previous victims, the chorus and that damn whisper sound effect. It really feels like you need to run the fuck away from a deranged Serial Killer.
  • "Final Demise" is another fast-paced chase-style song similar to "Death In The Corner", obviously fitting because of the situation. This time, though, there're also multiple vocals because of each character, adding to the fact that Girlfriend is calling Pico from the CB radio with such stress she has a Motor Mouth. Also, "Grass Skirt Chase" blends surprisingly well with the melody.
  • "Blammed Knife" mixes the suspenseful keyboard from the Jason songs and the hip hop sound effects from "Pico" to create a more action-based track in which the badass hitman Pico fights Jason in an actual battle unlike the "hopeless battle" style of "Bastard Rush".
  • "Bloody Smear" is probably the most badass song in the Among Us week, with a more "Bastard Rush"-style, representing the hopelessnes of all the Crewmates against a never-seen-before undead Nigh-Invulnerable Impostor like Jason, presented in a similar fashion to Über Jason. Once again, this song starts with an uneasy melody when the Red Crewmate starts singing to Boyfriend. Once he's brutally killed by Jason, the track gets much more intense with the amplification of the guitar and drums and the addition of the organ. Also, the countdown midsong following the beat and the vocals of Impostor Jason in a similar style to the Black Impostor is just sick.
  • The "Pixel Jason" week starts with "Pixel-O-Matic", an 8 bit song with a more hopeful and adventurous-style to it. It gives the feeling that Boyfriend is more determined to fight Jason than in "Bastard Rush" or "Bloody Smear".
  • "Pixel Penetration" is a much more active NES fighting game-style song in which Boyfriend has a more serious battle against Jason at nighttime and is ready to take him down once and for all.
  • Hell, even the freaking Game Over songs are awesome. The main Game Over theme is a sad music box accompanied with some electric bass notes, expresing the tragic fate of being dead at the hands of Jason. The second Game Over theme, however, which is only heard if you die with Boyfriend in "Final Demise", is a more creepy song in which the percussion is much louder and the electronic melody is much more dreaded than in the main Game Over, not to mention the deeper pitched "Gettin' Freaky" vocals, which bring Friday Night Funkin': Corruption to mind. In the case of the "Pixel Jason" Game Over, the song is as sad as the main Game Over, making the point that, as the phrase says, you and your friends are dead and couldn't put a stop to Jason, who will continue to claim more victims. Thankfully, retrying will make a happy tune sound, meaning you can fight Jason again. There's also an unused alternative "Pixel Jason" Game Over theme found in the files; it's also a sad song, though maybe in a more 8 bit "dungeon-style".
