As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • The environments. They're all really distinct and beautiful in their own way. It'd be easy to almost want to live in some of the locations if it wasn't for how much of a Crapsaccharine World the Mirror's Edge universe is.
    • Regatta Bay and the Ocean Pier area are simply idyllic looking. Cherry Blossoms and flowing water everywhere amongst some gorgeous architecture with a purple motif that compliments the cherry blossoms just right. Oh, and it's by the water so there's a nice view at certain points, too. The peaceful, homey music also adds to the effect. You could easily want to stay hours here.
    • The mission where you go through "The Big Dog", basically the inside of a big computer. Blinking lights and an eerie blue glow everywhere gives the place an alien, Sci-Fi feel. It's easy to want to join in on Plastic's fangirling.
Plastic:(paraphrased)...It wasn't designed with humans in mind. It's pure machine space. Pure function. I bet it's beautiful.
  • Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is a game all about traversal and movement (with some combat thrown in). Let's make a list of the sheer number of places Faith has gone on foot.
    • She's climbed to the top of two buildings that were in the middle of construction and thus not really meant for human traversal at all. Three if you count the sidequest you can do for Rebecca.
    • What's more difficult than climbing a building that's not even finished yet? How about climbing the tallest building in the city while it's falling apart around you? The MAG helped, but still.
      • Speaking of the MAG, the part where you attach it to a giant fan and ride up with it stands out. Faith even screams "This is great!" when she does this. Adrenaline Junkie, much?
    • She broke into Kingdom (with Plastic's help) and then subsequently breaks out again.
    • She rode on the back of a train twice and it's not treated like a big deal either time.
    • She breaks into Gabriel Kruger's personal apartment. No mean feat, considering he's the head of KrugerSec, which would probably be something like being the Chief of Police in our world.
    • She's hitched a ride through the skies thrice. Twice by drone, once by copter. All three times are pretty fun, what with you getting to see Glass from so high up, especially the third time with the drone spazzing everywhere while you're hanging onto it.
  • In the final mission, the game tricks you into turning a corner into a hallway filled with a huge amount of KrugerSec enemies. Naturally, you're supposed to turn around and run into an elevator behind you while they chase you... or, you can run straight at them and take them all down, kicking their asses in a fight scene that wouldn't look out of place in Daredevil (2015).
  • Faith's ultimate encounter with Gabriel Kruger. First, Kruger sics two fully armored and trained sentinel guards after her. She handily defeats them, and then, Kruger himself tries to stop her. He doesn't stand a chance, and although he tries to demoralize Faith by telling her about her sister's lung condition, it doesn't work, and she absolutely kicks the shit out of him. It's always satisfying to see someone realize they're Not So Invincible After All.
