** Alaindelon/Arandron. However, since the character is named after ''actual'' French actor, Alain Delon, Alaindelon is likely the correct romanized spelling of the name. Doesn't help that the official website spells it Arandron though.
** Dr. Forkas/Furcas/Folcas Rachmaninoff/Rachmaninorr
** Hecados/Hecatos/Hecadoth, Graffel/Graphel/Graphiel, Odonel/O'Donnell, Xoblah/Kusobra, Yshiel/Yuchelle, Labed/Rabid. However considering their names are based on an ancient alphabet, there is an official reference.

** Kanzaki apparently gets three times as powerful [[BerserkButton when he gets mad at someone pulling on]] [[BuffySpeak his facial piercing...chain...thing]].

* SuperSenses: [[spoiler: Hilda's]] left eye is revealed to be much more visually sensitive than her right, allowing her to read opponents' moves with ease. She usually keeps it [[PeekABangs covered]] though, as the huge sight difference between the two makes her nauseous.

* TheThingThatGoesDoink: Kanzaki's [[BigFancyHouse family home]] is shown to have one.

** The reasons that prevent the delinquents from coming on the St. Ishiyama {{field trip}}. Putting aside the fact that they [[AlwaysInClassOne aren't even in the same grade]], they also aren't official members of the school and have no money to pay their way, since Himekawa [[HandWave can't be bothered]] [[CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot to foot the bill]].

* SlobsVersusSnobs: Happens when the delinquents transfer from Ishiyama High, the worst InnerCitySchool around, to the much posher St. Ishiyama. It is then taken UpToEleven when Oga infiltrates the ridiculously wealthy San Marx Private Arts Academy, whose students consist of children of big league politicians and foreign princes.

* UpToEleven: The delinquency rate at Ishiyama is 120%.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Most of the demons have brightly coloured hair, like pink, blue or green. Although it's justified because they're, well, demons, no one in the human world comments on it.

* TeleporterAccident: While [[FanNickname Doctor Awesome]] is successfully dropped off at the Demon King's palace, Alaindelon makes a mistake and [[spoiler:Lamia, Oga, and Furuichi]] are instead taken to the wildest, most dangerous area of the Demon World where they are stranded until help comes. And there are monsters ''everywhere''. Huh.

** There's no way that a toy from the demon world would just conveniently arrive. [[GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere Right?]]

* ZettaiRyouiki: Type A for both Lamia and Satura. Hilda becomes a Type A when she's wearing the San Marx uniform.

* SanityBall: All over the place.

* ShowerScene: Oga gets one eventually, though it's only from the waist up and is kinda spoiled by the fact that Shiroyama is standing outside the window. In the anime he gets a FuroScene in the second episode.

** The Best Couple Grand Prix arc is packed with this. Couples included Oga/Hilda, Kanzaki/Yuka, Tojo/Shizuka, Mr. Saotome/Suiten, Furuichi/Nene and [[spoiler: Izo]]/Aoi.

* TryingToCatchMeFightingDirty: Furuichi readily admits that the other characters are combat monsters well beyond anything he could compete with. Thus if forced into a conflict, he'd rather run, and barring that will resort to any low-blow or sneak attack necessary for victory. It works pretty okay for him.
** The entire Ishiyama High delinquent team using Baby Beel in volley ball. Just barely within the rules thanks to what the Six Knights said [[HoistByHisOwnPetard before the match]].
** The female Pillars use underhanded tactics to try and get at Oga, such as flirting with him or pretending to be afraid/innocent. Aoi calls them out for it.
** During the cooking duel in Chapter 183, Kanzaki hoards all the ingredients so the Furuichi-Nene pair won't have a chance to cook.
** Ringo, the leader of the [[spoiler:splinter Red Tails fraction]] swears by this. She effectively cripples Aoi by holding both Oga and Aoi's Red Tails hostage. When Aoi gets her HeroicSecondWind, she then threatens to [[EyeScream burn Oga's eye out with a lighter]].

** In Chapter 140, Furuichi hightails it out of the brewing conflict between Hilda and Aoi after [[GenreSavvy complaining about the way things are developing]] and [[LampshadeHanging how Oga always gets the 'juicy parts']].

* UnwantedHarem: GenreSavvy Furuichi is doing everything in his power to prevent Oga from gaining one because "It just isn't fair".

* SimilarSquad: The Field Trip arc introduces one for Ishiyama High. South Chinpira High created their own Tohoshinki modeled after Ishiyama and even have an Oga clone, Izo Aiba, who's just a bit less of a CloudCuckooLander and just as much of a BadAss. The main difference so far? Well, he's blond and falls in LoveAtFirstSight with Kunieda... and his baby sister falls for Beel...at first sight..

* SmokingIsCool: Saotome-sensei smokes almost constantly, and is undeniably the most {{badass}} character introduced so far.
