Cast Of Snowflakes is about a cast where every character has distinctive appearances. Even if there are various traits to distinguish them, the art style still very much falls into Only Six Faces since despite having different hairstyles, their faces look very similar and eye shapes tend to be reused.

* CastOfSnowflakes: They made sure that everyone in the humongous cast -- 32 main characters (five of them being the main leads, three of them being the secondary protagonists and the rest being supporting protagonists) in Ōarai alone, a similar number of important support characters, and another similar number of minor characters which still have enough distinctive traits to be noteworthy even if they don't say anything. The only (intentional) exception is the Public Morals Committee trio.

* FalseFlagOperation: The first battle in Das Finale is won by exploiting the fact that the enemy school is a merger of two schools whose members only just learned to get along, and the fact that Team Mallard's tank looks similar to the tanks from one of those pre-merger schools to set off an EnemyCivilWar. By the time they figure out what's going on, they had taken out half their own team.

* FeedTheMole: The first team Oorai faces in Das Finale guesses that Yukari will sneak into the school for reconnaissance, and deliberately overplays their internal troubles while she's there so Oorai will be lured into a false sense of complacency.

** In the first episode of Das Finale, Team Anglerfish finds Oorai has a ninth tank, located in the depths of the ship's hold and being used by a group of delinquents as a meat smoker. When the automotive club brings it back to operational status, they mention that it smells like sausage.

** The French-based BC Academy is a fusion of two schools, one an upper-class elevator school and one for lower-class students who had to pass a test to enroll, and is racked with class conflicts.

* NonLethalWarfare: Invoked in-universe through the use of special carbon coating lining the interior of the participating tanks, which protects the tank crews by minimizing the force transfer of hits that would otherwise be lethal in the real world. Also, all participants have to use special Federation-made rounds (one assumes this includes the bullets for the machineguns as well) that, while not totally negating the chance for injury, are supposed to be nonlethal.

** During the Anzio OVA, Duce comes up with a plan to lure Oorai into a battlefield of her choosing using wooden tank decoys. It falls apart when her people set them all up in the same place, resulting in Oorai's scouts reporting a gathering of enemy tanks larger than the entire Anzio team is stationed at the crossroads, which lets Miho realize that there's a trick being used.

* RidiculousExchangeRates: During the Anzio OVA, Yukari sneaks into Anzio to learn their tank lineup for the next battle. She buys lunch while she's there, and is told it's 3 million lira. When Yukari asks for the exchange rate, she's told it's 300 yen (about $2.50).

Fortunately, she has new friends who are more than willing to help -- boy-chasing Saori Takebe, gentle Hana Isuzu, tank fangirl Yukari Akiyama, and lethargic Mako Reizei. Together with them and a crew of over two dozen girls -- including the Student Council, members of the recently-disbanded volleyball team, history buffs, and a group of freshmen (later, members of public morals committee and automotive club, and a group of online gamers) -- Miho will have to learn to love her sport once more and lead Ōarai to victory -- because, as she will eventually learn, there's more at stake than just the school's prestige or her reputation.

* Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen desu (which translates to "It's the More Love Love Operation") was released. This manga, released after the series aired, eschews tank action for cute and funny 4-koma style strips. Confirmed to be canon, it is the source of a lot of the finer points of characterization among the LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters, albeit somewhat exaggerated as befitting a comedy manga.

* WrenchWench: The Ooarai Girls High School Automotive Club is made up of four highly skilled teen girl mechanics who not only work on cars but also maintain the school's motley collection of WWII tanks. In the later episodes they get to crew the notoriously cantankerous Porsche Tiger tank, doing as well as warriors as they did as wrench wenches. Their skills are useful even during final match when Porsche engine overheats. One of the crew fixed the problem while riding on the armor at full speed. Hell, they even overcharged the engine to keep up with the rest of the team and destroy the bridge to delay opponent's reinforcements.

* TeaIsClassy: Combines this with BritsLoveTea. The St. Gloriana team is an Aristocrat Team based on the UK and has a tea set as its coat of arms. The school's creed is "Be elegant at all times", and the students (most of whom have tea-based Edible Theme Naming) are often seen drinking tea even during matches. Their team commander, Darjeeling, who epitomizes the school's promotion of dignified elegance, is also the most prominent tea drinker. Her character page's image even shows her holding a teacup and a saucer.

* DangerouslyShortSkirt: Part of the attire for almost every school, both in regular school uniforms and their Sensha-do uniforms (Saunders uses shorts for the latter instead).

* ExposedToTheElements: A Downplayed example, but the girls cannot be comfortable in the show's usual miniskirts in the snowy weather of the Pravda match. Not so bad in the tanks, which are consistently noted to be uncomfortably hot in warmer weather, but everyone spends considerable time sitting outdoors during the match; the St. Gloriana and Kuromorimine spectators spend the whole match sitting in cold snowy weather without a hint of discomfort. At least the Pravda team are wearing thick jackets.

Spot Of Tea was renamed Brits Love Tea. Examples that do not mention the character's association with Britain are assumed to be misuse. There's not enough context for me to rewrite the British-team's entry. In addition, Spell Myname With An S is not a fan reaction

** St. Gloriana's tank team uses British tanks, are named after types of tea, wear red coats in battle, take their tea seriously, are extraordinarily polite and their LeitMotif is the British Grenadiers march. That's TheThemeParkVersion of UsefulNotes/TheBritishEmpire.

** Also, some fans have come to mispell Sensha-do as Sencha-do. Which would mean "Way of the Japanese Green tea".Cue jokes about how that would be St. Gloriana's official spelling in 3, 2, 1...
