This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Could I get the examples all written up, please? I'm not going to add a Zero Context Example.

- The Emperor from Star Wars The Old Republic is a really, really cruel man. First, he disintegrated T3-M4, murdered his own parents, drained the energy from a planet, forced Revan and the Exile into his mind, telepathically tortures Exal... it says a lot when the ancient Sith Lords preferred Exar Kun over this guy. It says even more when the Dark Council plotted to overthrow him. And that's not even getting into what Kira endured thanks to him. She fled the Sith because of his evil and during the Jedi Knight's battle with Angral, he possesses Kira purely to do away with her friend. Why? Because he saw visions that her friend might be the one who will defeat him and being Dangerously Genre Savvy he's decided to take the hero out now while he or she is still weak.
- The Joker from Batman Arkham City kills multiple people, sets Bane up to be tortured, freely talks about being physically abusive to Harley Quinn, offers to let his men rape Harley, covers all the usual Bad Boss bases, tries to turn Jim Gordon into a 'roided-up monstrosity, kidnaps Nora Fries to force Mr. Freeze into helping him, blackmails Batman into helping by sending his poisoned blood to hospitals in the Gotham area, etc.

A couple suggested additions to the Word Cruft page:
- "To clarify" and "to expand" and "to elaborate" all look really clumsy in an article, especially when the troper who puts it in feels the need to create a new bullet for it. And even when merged into one paragraph, it makes it look like the wiki is arguing with itself. Falls under the Repair Dont Respond umbrella.

Two things: One, I noticed that the Troll page is not folderized, so that should be done. Two, the Baccano entry on Übermensch is a Zero Context Example, so I'd like it changed to this:
- Claire Stanfield of Baccano is an interesting take on this. When a villain tries to give him a Hannibal Lecture about how mercy is a weakness, he admits that this is completely true—which is why only the strong can afford to be merciful. Also, he's a solipist who thinks he's God.

I believe movie007 meant the Main/ namespace. Anyways, as for the WebOriginal/ redirect, apparently the redirect function doesn't like the Namespace.Work function, so can that be replaced with a slash?
