Batman The Movie reference has been put in.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! So, this might have been asked before, but would any tropes about homosexuality have to be dealt with? Obviously, they are not inherently NSFW, but I do not know if the standards set think the same thing.
Also, Scunthorpe problem and Pen Island.

Read my stories!Pen Island already flagged. I may have done Scunthorpe Problem too; I don't recall. It's easy enough to check. (Edit: it's flagged.)
The mere fact that a trope is about homosexuality doesn't push it over the line. It depends greatly on what aspects of it are being touched on. Bury Your Gays is fine, for example, but Uke and Seme might not be.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Lady in Red got flagged for its presence on the Fanservice and Rule of Sexy indexes, but I can't find anything particularly objectionable on it, so I removed the flag. Any thoughts?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Hmm... query:
Should Ask The Tropers and Recent Changes be flagged as NSFG?
Ask The Tropers is essentially a discussion page, and people may need to discuss NSFG pages there.
And while Recent Changes may be safe most of the time, if one of our more colorfully named tropes get edited, something like Tourettes Shitcock Syndrome would appear in the list.

Or we could set the Recent Changes to not display changes on anything that's behind the curtain, or make a separate section for those edits?
I tested the one mentioned just now just to see if it would show up, and it did. (Though, of course, I made sure that it was a legitimate edit, if only a small one.)

“I just think that's really shady." "Shady?!" - Stephanie & Chad, The Amazing Race 17Hmm, yeah, Recent Changes is a necessary part of the wiki, but it might be necessary to segregate it by which pages are judged "safe", with the filter determined by your logged-in state and acceptance of mature content.
Ask The Tropers definitely needs to be across the curtain, as are any other "discussion" areas. Possibly Lost And Found and You Know That Show as well, given that they're dealing with users asking questions about anything. Little Suzie goes to LAF and sees someone asking about Guro and clicks a link... Brain Bleach.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm surprised no one flagged Plot With Porn before me, since it lists many NSFG works.
Wouldn't it be easier to make a whole new wiki for kids? Honestly.
If we're talking about stuff that is safe for Little Suzi, then Eye Scream, Impaled with Extreme Prejudice, and several other tropes relating to extreme violence should be out on just that principle.
Also, anything with "Hell", "Badass", or not promoting family healthy values should be lumped in too. I'm adding this in because I saw that you had to change the quote for Hellhound on the previous page. I'm not arguing it, because I don't know what the quote was, so don't worry.
I'm just sayin', they've made Darth Wiki and Sugar Wiki, why not just save the pain and trouble and make a Kid's Wiki?
Also, are you including Work's pages, too? Just curious.

We will always have one and exactly one wiki, if we can fund it adequately. There is no need for dramatic measures like splitting it. If you want to read it seamlessly, Get Known, disable the content warning in your profile, and don't delete your cookies constantly.
Now please remain on topic.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I apologize, I was at least attempting to have my post add something to the topic at hand, which was why I included those tropes.
The violence ones, though, if you really are aiming for "kid friendly", are what I'm curious about. Also, I thought of three more, Gorn, Kensington Gore, and Your Head Asplode. Also, would suicide tropes count, too?

We're going with NSFG(NSFW) so it's not all kid friendly.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Tropes about gore and excessive violence would go on NSFG, certainly. This is just so we can tell Google, "Yes, we are taking steps to make sure the major portion of the site remains family-friendly and nothing that violates AdSense policies will run AdSense ads.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You see, I knew nothing of the Google Ads crisis until just a few minutes ago. Well, crap. Rest assured, anywhere I see complaints about these changes, I'll link them to The Situation page. I think the biggest problem here is that many people don't know WHY these changes have to be made.
Sorry, not trying to derail the subject, here.
That's just a general symptom of wikihood; we don't have an established single channel of communication to all tropers. Well, there's the Twitter feed but I don't know how many people know of it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"We also have the Trope Report — a great summary of what is going on.
I mentioned a few pages ago about pages for works that are known for violence or profanity or are generally NSFG. Removing references to the violence or profanity would dilute those pages, so do we flag works like Clerks or The Big Lebowski or do we censor the naughty bits?
Stomping on your fingers as you're clinging on to the abyssflag them.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Regarding the 'bad words' flagging reason - it's a given if the name of the trope listed has one in it, such as Tourettes Shitcock Syndrome, but what if it's present in example justification? Should we go and rewrite-prune the 'naughty' words from examples to save the work pages from the shadowside?
p.s.: edited for trope name typo

If you can edit a page so it doesn't need to be flagged without losing anything important, do so, because if when we get google back, flagged pages will make less money than unflagged.
Has there been a verdict on It's Not Porn, It's an Index and its tropes? Does having "porn" in the trope title automatically make it NSFG?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
If you've got a SFG caption for either one go for it.
