This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):
%% crowner link
%% Please do not change or remove without starting a new thread.
- If one or more previous images on the page were pulled, those forum links should remain on the page as well, but the accompanying templates should be replaced by:
- Captions selected by crowner will be tagged using this template (which goes under the image caption):
Sandbox for backlog items awaiting a crowner slot: Image Pickin' Backlog

I do think that's better; it's added to the crowner.
Went ahead and took care of the Vanity Fair pic due to unanimous support. I'll deal with the others later.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThanks; everything that's at 10 or better in the green can go ahead and go on their respective pages.
We need a good image for Successful Sibling Syndrome.
I'd like to suggest a new image for the Dark Messiah page, specifically this image. It's been festering for a while ever since the thread where the Lenin picture was removed.
I have quote for it, as well, and can resize it.

In the now-locked thread for Army of The Ages, I suggested this image◊ as a replacement. No image was chosen, but since then I found a trope where it would actually fit a lot better: Archived Army. Almost the same concept, but it's about recognized historical figures teaming up.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"x2 That looks like a classic case of JAFAAC.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Aye, fair enough. It's a hard job, trying to find a suitable image for the page. But I think it deserves one. Hmm.
I'm thinking something like this◊ might be a better fit.

Again, that's JAFAAC bait...there's nothing in the pic that shows the trope in action, it's just the characters standing around looking dramatic.

The image on All Guys Want Cheerleaders was previously pulled per this thread. I'd like to suggest the following:
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The previous crowner is closed and the next is created from the top twelve options from post 144.
I'd like to suggest this image of Lolth◊ for Monster.Dungeons And Dragons.
Why so serious? What would even be a good image for a dark messiah page? A grim looking man with a lot of military men in salute is the only thing I could think of. The Lenin picture was a main stay and it wasn't that much different. In fact, it required an understanding of proletariat and communism, as well as Lenin to get the picture.

^ I'd say an Obviously Evil character giving a New Era Speech to their followers would work, but there have been several failed attempts to provide that trope an image that all ran into JAFAAC issues.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"You mean like this? (Amon from Legend of Korra. I'm still not convinced it's a great pic and it will need a caption to help it, but it covers the basics.)
If we could find an image where the person is actually explaining their plans in a text bubble, like from a comic, that might be the best actually.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Looks like the top three from the crowner can be actioned.

Suggestion for Shaking the Rump from Phineas and Ferb [1]◊
^^ The ones in red have been pretty stable as well.
One thing about a crowner is that you don't really get a sense of why an image isn't liked, but the one I'm most surprised by for not gathering enough votes is Slaying Mantis. I don't know if people mistakenly think it has to be a literal mantis rather than a fantasy creature with that design, or if they think it just doesn't look psychotic enough.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Yep, those three can be put up on their pages.
This one's got a lot of options that aren't doing so well.

Crown Description:
Oglaf's 4th panel for Jerkass Gods is adding to the point of the trope. Compare to just 5+6
