I think the Gender Is No Object caption is fine. I'm on the fence regards the Emotional Bruiser one.

I think the Emotional Bruiser one's fine. It's totally something he'd say.

A minor request, but the caption on Edible Theme Naming should be updated to include Android 7.0 Nougat among the OSes.

For the new pic on Dynamic Akimbo, how about "I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this pose."?

I'm okay with the Gender Is No Object caption idea.

As for Dynamic Akimbo, works for me.

I have no issues with the Dynamic Akimbo caption suggestion.

I'm good with the suggestions for Dynamic Akimbo, Gender Is No Object, and Emotional Bruiser.

Also, I think it's time to close the crowner for Always Chaotic Evil caption...

...was it not already closed, like, days ago? The notice did need to be removed from the thread title, so that's done now.

I've un-%%'d the caption for Gender Is No Object and tagged it, and added the caption to Dynamic Akimbo...forgot to tag it for the thread, though, I need to remember to do that.

When I suggested the caption for Derelict Graveyard, I didn't mean for it to be put in quotation marks on the image.

Calling the crowner; the new caption's added and tagged.

I forget which project it is that's doing this (the RL examples cleanup, maybe?) but it's using a running crowner concept where items are added to the crowner as they come up, and replacement crowners are generated when the old ones get to a certain size. Considering that almost every IP thread comes up with at least one caption suggestion, do you think this could work for this thread, or should we stick with running crowners for individual pages when options have enough consensus for consideration but not enough to immediately use?

I think it might be a bit messy. It works well with the RL cleanup thread, since there's always only one option per page (yes or no; if additional cleanup is needed that's still easy to handle within the thread), but here there could easily be multiple suggestions per page.

That's indeed the sticking point.

I don't think a running crowner for captions would work for that reason either. There's just no way to convert something that is intended for binary options into something manageable for multiple options all being decided on at the same time. People would just have to sift through an increasingly bigger list.

Any thoughts on these?

The crowner's going to be a week old tomorrow, so I've closed it and put up the winner.

The thread for Perplexing Pearl Production closed without any real discussion on the caption. How about something like...

Not feeling it, honestly.

DK wishes it could make two bananas a minute.

That's pretty good, but it actually takes much less than a minute. I'd say it takes about a second.

My thoughts on post 593:

• I like the Bully Hunter caption.
• I think the caption for Eviler than Thou could lose the second phrase.
