It is still pretty good.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe Beauty and the Beast remake.
I thought it was pretty good! Everyone did a wonderful job in their roles, the songs were well sung, and the visuals were gorgeous!
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I can't believe I forgot how good that movie was. >.< ^_^;;
I like to keep my audience riveted.Sorry about the double post, though I did have a double feature tonight. First I watched Kong: Skull Island, and then I watched The Cat Returns.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Independence Day: Resurgence
It was okay.
The Breakfast Club
I thought it was pretty great! I like how they deconstructed the archtypes normally found in High-School dramas. Though, due to the very consistent set (the whole movie takes place during one detention session), the film felt more like a stage play.
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"I saw Inception a few days ago. Good movie, it had an interesting premise and an execution that certainly didn't waste that premise. I'll need to give it a rewatch, as I missed some parts of it during my initial viewing.
Are you ready? Go live!Apparently there is a (nonmusical, thankfully) Screen-to-Stage Adaptation. It's said to be popular with high schools. I know it's an HS Coming of Age Story and all, but certain factors cast doubt on that idea, unless said school(s) are liberal af.

Ghost in the Shell. And good timing for watching it too.
Remember what we used to say? JACKPOT!Florence Foster Jenkins. My family and I were supposed to watch Lion, but we needed a funny movie after my brother's depression flared up again.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Ghost in the Shell. It was different from previous versions, but that is to be expected, I thought it was good.
Remember what we used to say? JACKPOT!Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.
As a fan of Godzilla, pretty good. Definitely one of my favorites.
Godzilla: Final Wars
So much cheese, both good and bad. The kaiju fights were good, but everything else was just dumb.
Two days ago, The LEGO Movie. Still gives me a chuckle.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"I just finished Star Trek: Generations. I remember seeing bits and pieces of it once when I was a kid. Now that I've seen the whole thing, I must say I like it. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted. The Afflicted (2010): Starts off kind of awkward, but it eventually gets better. Still, it can't help but feel like some kind of poor man's version of the The Girl Next Door (even if its alternate title is "Another American Crime").
Clint Eastwood's weird Preacher killing bad dudes. What's not to like?
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Beauty and the Beast. Don't think I like it as much as the original but it's very good.

I always thought that the Preacher in Pale Rider was the same guy that he played in High Plains Drifter - the Angel of Death. Cracking film though.
Does the Mystery Science Theater 3000 riffing of Space Mutiny count?
Blog linkWent to a Midnight Movie screening of Near Dark in tribute to the late and great Bill Paxton. The theater showed some shorts, film trailers, and even a music video, that had Bill involved in before the film started. The guy had some great talent, and we miss him.
His character, Severen, stole every scene he was in. It wasn't in too much since he wasn't the main character, but goddamn he was great. The bar scene was his best part next to his last showdown with the main character.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.
Rich Hall's newest BBC 4 documentary "Rich Hall's Countrier than You", an examination of country and western from its surprising roots to its spread across the world's music listening and buying public. Really good, as usual from the man.
